"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Unggul. As soon as we arrived, we felt right at home and our room was spacious, clean, and cold — a welcome paradise after our long boat ride. The villa felt private and was perfectly situated, just north of the strip of bars and restaurants. The beach was right across and there was plenty of space to lounge. "Amazing place, great location if you want some privacy from the buzzing area but also be close enough. Bathrooms are in a very nice outdoor but private concept. If you don't mind the wildlife, you might find a gecko in a bathroom. Ours was very cute, we named him Jerry "

"Gili Tenda is a little piece of paradise, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the party strip on Gili T. We were on babysitting duties for 3 grandkids under 4, so spent a lot of time at the property. The hosts and staff were amazing and very accommodating, the facilities were spot on and the glam tent accommodation was fabulous, clean and very roomy. I would highly recommend this property! Ps. Thank you to Senna for sharing your toys and playing so beautifully with our grandchildren xx"

"The room was filthy. The bathroom was disgusting. The room safe didn’t work. The refrigerator hadn’t been cleaned in I don’t know how long. No where to hang a towel in the bathroom. I think you get the picture. "

"As you’ll have seen from the other reviews, this really is a great place to stay. It’s a new build, so clean and modern. Really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom. The staff were exceptional. Super friendly and helpful. I was travelling alone and felt perfectly safe. Would stay again for sure. I will flag that it’s not a quiet place to stay. There’s a lot of noise from the surrounding wildlife. More of a glamping feel, which suited me fine. Imagine wildlife noise would be an issue everywhere. Zero...

"Très décevant car non conforme aux photos qui montrent des chambres avec fenêtre. Le lit est directement à côté de la porte et contre le mur, comme dans une cabine. Les chambres sont minuscules sans fenêtre. On dort dans un placard. Ensemble vieillissant. Grande salle de bain (taille de la chambre quasiment !) Propre. Toute petite piscine au milieu des «chambres » Plutôt dans les terres, côté village et non plage Personnel serviable. Petit déjeuner ok."

"A lovely old fashioned hotel. No lift which did cause a challenge but we managed in the end. Tiwi in reception was fantastic, answered all my questions and helped organize a car to see some of Lombok. Alvira was great with her friendly attitude at breakfast. Thank you ladies. The area around the hotel is very dirty and this is the only negative as it spoils the Hotel ."
