Wedding weekend
We got married this past weekend at the 1910 sip house. The a frame was the perfect place to stay and it offered easy access to our wedding venue, and allowed our kids a place of rest and escape from the busy events.

Great Rental
This rental was great! The owner was really nice and responsive. The cabin was clean and very nice. The lake was great for swimming with a small child. The cabin had a small basket of toys as well that our toddler love. The cabin is on a beautiful clear lake and the access was great. Very happy with this experience.

Always a perfect stay..
This is our 2nd year at the A Frame and we’ve already booked for next summer. We just love staying here. The cabin is clean, well stocked with everything you should need, the beds are so comfortable, wifi/tv, AC, tons of great lake toys, a great swimming area, and an awesome fire pit. Melissa is always super great to communicate with and is so kind and accommodating. A+/5 stars/2 thumbs up!

Amazing cabin and host!
We loved our stay at this cabin. The description and pictures of this property not do it justice. Perfect amount of space for 4 adults and 2 kids, it could probably comfortable fit more. The kids always had something to do, one is 3 and the other is 12. They were never board. The communication with the host was wonderful and very helpful. Will definitely stay there again!

Great weekend getaway
We had a great stay (our second time staying here) in mid March. The cabin was perfect for 4 couples and we all had a great time. The location is perfect for visiting either Ottertail or Battle Lake and was great for hiking at the State park as well. The cidery down the road is a great spot to visit within walking distance. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and had plenty of room for 8 adults to hang out around the dining room table while playing cards at night. We will be back!

Adorable A Frame
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the A Frame. It’s cute and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. It rained most of the weekend so we were glad it was such a fun place to hang out inside. We walked down the road to the 1910 Sip House both days to enjoy local hard ciders and the fun atmosphere. The host was great with communication. We would definitely stay again!

Great family getaway
We loved our stay at Jacks place! The sand area up by the house was perfect for the 4 year olds to play while we kept a watchful eye on them. The sand bar and shallow water was also perfect for us. The cabin worked out perfectly and was well stocked with the essentials. The only con? It’s booked up already for next Summer!

The cabin had plenty of room for our 50th anniversary celebration with our family! Really enjoyed our time there. Had a wonderful time on Jack’s pontoon. Great place! Would stay there again.

Family retreat
This is a great property on a fabulous lake. Our family of 5 had plenty of room and more than enough to do. The owner is very responsive and very hands on. We will return to this property.

Clean cabin with all the essentials.
The property was very clean and had all of the essentials. There are two full baths which was great for our group of 8. The beds were also very comfortable. There was plenty to do for the kids, ages 4-18. We would definitely consider another visit.

Great Lake house
We loved our stay at Battle Creek. The cabin was unique, cozy and immaculate. The location of the cabin to Glendalough State Park, Battle Creek, Ottertail and Perham made it accessible to get food and restaurants. Jack (the owner) made it hard to want to go anywhere else. The had the essentials and made cooking a breeze however most of our nights were spent by the firepit near the lake. All in all it was a great family vacation and we look forward to going back soon!

Very comfortable and homey atmosphere. The view of the lake was awesome. Lawn had plenty of space for our yard games. We went to the little museum and ate out in Battle Lake. There were six ladies and everyone thought it was a wonderful place! Each of us said we would recommend this place for families or a gals get away!

Beautiful Family Getaway!
This place is amazing! The cabin is beautiful with its rustic charm, but also has all the updated comforts you could want! Our family of five (and one pup) had more than enough room and enjoyed the beautifully clear lake every day! We caught fish, tubed and swam at the sand bar. The kids loved the sand box and dock where they caught fish on their own. Battle Lake is a very charming little town with plenty of restaurants, shoppes, etc. We loved Granny's Pantry (ice cream)! Jack was an awesome host. Always available and would check in occasionally, but never intrusive. This place is better than the pictures and we hope to be back again!

We loved everything about it!!!
This property was exactly as described and the pictures were spot on. You will really enjoy staying here. The cabin is so adorable and well stocked. We had five people staying, and easily room for more. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there for us to use. I had forgotten a couple of things, but everything we needed was there anyway. The kitchen is plenty big and beds are very comfortable. You will have two nice size bathrooms with new fixtures. The only issue is fighting over who gets the spacious and beautiful loft. The lake is perfect for both fishing and water sports. The dock is brand new and situated in a way which makes it easy to dock a boat, and also easy to catch fish right from the dock. Jack and Heather are gracious hosts, but will let you have your privacy unless you need something. We can't say enough about how lovely this cabin is and how wonderful the hosts are. The whole property is amazing.
