"Amazing stay in Villa Gianlica ! The hotel is scrupulously clean and so quiet and peaceful. Our room was completely on its own with an amazing terrace overlooking the sea. Everywhere else around is so busy so the hotel is absolutely perfect to relax in. All the staff were so helpful, you feel that they are your friends. "This place has an incredible view, so beautiful. It’s little hidden which we loved. You can take bus from downtown Amalfi which goes every 30 minutes until 11pm. You have to buy ticket downtown from the guy in yellow vest who is usually next to the buses, its 1.50 which is super affordable. Unfortunately you cant buy tickets in bus so I would suggest to buy couple of them right when you get to town. "This hidden gem is literaly 2 blocks away from everything you will ever need. The neighborhood is beating and very safe, day and night. The central station is 2 blocks away through a pedestrian street. The pier is 2 block away, and it will take you anywhere you want. The supermarket is literally one block away. "Residenza Pansa was in a convenient location, but was hard to find; google maps has a hard time with steps and alley-ways that are prevalent in Amalfi. It would be helpful if walking directions were provided for guests to assist in finding the hotel from the ferry/bus area. The room and staff were great and the small out-door terrace was nice too. The down-side of this property is that it is located right above the main road in town, so it is quite noisy."

"The location was beautiful, incredibly quiet and perfect to get away from the more touristy areas. The area has narrow streets, but it is walkable. "Apartment was very clean. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. Colorful and bright decorative color palette. Things to improve: bathroom folding door was broken when we arrived and as a result difficult to close. Towel Hook was loose and about to break off so we couldn't use. Led light remained on in bedroom ( not sure what it was from, security? Smoke detector?. Very minor inconveniences in light of the good quality and cleanliness of apartment."
