The Loft House is also close to Frome and Bradford on Avon, as well as lots of pretty villages in the immediate area. This is a fantastic location if you want to experience the city of Bath, as well as the beautiful Somerset countryside.
ituated on a pretty village road in the centre of the village of Hinton Charterhouse, you will find the Loft House, attached to a large Georgian cottage. The owners have recently renovated The Loft House to a very high specification using their combined skills and backgrounds as Interior Designer and building company Director.
The Loft House is reached through the garage of the main house and into the walled garden, where an iron staircase leads up to the separate front door of the annex.
On this floor you will find a cosy open plan living room and kitchen with a log burner. There is a bathroom with a shower also on this floor. On the floor above is the bedroom with a king size bed. It is worth noting that there is no door separating this bedroom from the downstairs. There is also a door off this bedroom which connects to the attic rooms of the main house which is always locked. For yours and the owners privacy an additional door is fitted here so there is reduced noise that carries from either property.
The Loft House sleeps two adults, plus a baby in a cot.
The Loft House looks out over the pretty walled garden of the main house. There are also views from the bedroom window out over the other gardens of the village.
There is so much to do in the area. Bath and Frome are easily accessed by car or bus and are a 15 minute drive. The village of Bruton with the Hauser and Wirth gallery is 35 minutes. There are numerous farm shops and National Trust properties nearby, and the beautiful Iford Manor Gardens are just down the road. There are many beautiful walks and the Two Valleys Walk starting in Iford passes two great pubs.

The Loft House is attached to the main house. Access is through the garage to the garden, and then up a flight of steps to its own separate entrance. The Loft House is all yours to enjoy. The garden of the main house is unfortunately private.
Please note the owners have two cats, one is particularly friendly and likes meeting guests. If you don’t like cats this may not be the accommodation for you.
The owners also have 2 children ages 6 and 8 who are also very friendly, who play in the garden.
We also ask guests to refrain from cooking or preparing food with strong smelling spices e.g curries as it is difficult to remove the smell properly from the flat before other guests use it.
