We used it as a base to travel the area, going as far away as Baden Baden, Switzerland and closer to Strasbourg and Colmar. "The house is beautiful and spacious--among the nicest rentals we've visited. If anything, it's lovelier in real life than it looks in the photos. Our week didn't go as planned for a handful of reasons, and we ended up spending a lot more time at the house than we intended. I was worried about the energy fees, housebound in winter as we were--but it wasn't bad at all. Under other circumstances, I doubt we'd have gone over. I think having everything itemized as it is with this property works out...

"This chalet was everything we were looking for to have a relaxing family weekend. The house had everything we needed: even a room and toys for the kids. The hot tub and sauna were lovely. We enjoyed getting to ski and snow shoe about 30 mins away. The owner was very pleasant and answered all of my questions. We hope to be back!"
