It's certainly not every home that comes with an indoor basketball court! But that's what you'll find at Iyer Lakehouse, an exceptional property in Bass Lake with a boat slip on Beaver Dock, a game room with a pool table, and an expansive backyard patio.

Step inside this home to find more than 4,000 square feet of living space. The main living room has an eight-person sectional, TV, and a piano. The kitchen boasts two ovens, a separate stove on the island, and granite countertops.

In the evening, you'll have a downstairs game room with a pool table, a card table, and a dart board. Or, you can fit in some remote work in the office, featuring a desk and a leather chair. Additional amenities include air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a washer/dryer.

Beautiful Bass Lake is a fantastic boating, skiing, fishing, hiking, and bicycling spot. You'll be close to the Pines Village at the lake, with its restaurants, general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. Oakhurst is about seven miles away, offering shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema, and a live stage theater. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away, and the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park is only 15 miles away.

THINGS TO KNOW
Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent annually during the fall and winter. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season's rain and snowfall.

It was very comfortable home and all of us fit perfectly! It was very spacious to have the celebration of life dinner for my brother, with all the family

Plenty of space, cute lake town, house could use updates
We had 7 adults and 4 young kids. The house is nice and spacious and the basketball court and pool table were fun. My family always meets up and stays in a vacation rental and this is the first time we didn’t have everything we needed in the kitchen of a rental. It would be fine for minimal cooking. Biggest issue for us was none of the doors lock which is a problem in the bathrooms. Very strange. It should be noted in the description that the lake is drained in the winter and there is very little water.

House is uncared for. Many things broken and the beds are horrible
This house is poorly cared for, not maintained, and almost all of the amenities are broken. The porch was rotted, and it gave way as one of our guests crossed it. The back of the house's outside railing was loose, missing bolts, being 3 stories up, it is a safety risk. The floors were dirty, walking around in bare feet or socks meant black feet. We bought materials and cleaned the floor ourselves. The AC filters had never been changed and were blocked solid and made the AC almost non functional. Water leaking from the top floor main bathroom fan. We put buckets under it and had to monitor them all weekend. A Vacasa rep came out and looked at the leak and took one of the air filters promising to have someone fix it. No one came back, and no follow up. The umbrella on the porch was torn and worthless. The outside table and several chairs were broken. 3 of the windows were broken. The sink water filter was broken. Many of the lights in the house have burned out bulbs. The second floor. The furniture is old, broken down, and dirty and all the mattresses on the beds are old and worn out. The closets have broken doors, and one is stuffed with a broken dresser. The pool cues were missing except for one with a broken tip. The darts were torn apart and unusable. The couch on bottom was dirty and stained. The outdoor kitchen had a broken grill. The outside door downstairs lock was broken, the bathroom door was broken, and again all beds were old and worn out.

Family trip to Bass Lake
The property was generally in very good condition. We had 18 people including 8 children ranging from 1yrs - 13 yrs old. The rooms are spacious and everything worked well. The basketball court and game room was a plus for the kids. All in all, a great property for large groups! The boat dock was a plus as well. The only issues that we had were that there was very little glass ware, only plastic cups. I went out and bought some stemless wine glasses to supplement the supply. The other issue was the outdoor furniture at the ground floor. All of the plastic chairs were broken or broke just sitting on them and the other metal stools were bent and unusable. The fire pit worked but there really was nowhere to sit comfortably. Also, it would be helpful to have a second refrigerator to hold all of the food that a large group has to have. Maybe one in the garage as a back up.

Family vacation
Great property, plenty of room for the 8 of us. We went into Yosemite valley, rented a ski boat, went horseback riding and spent time at the lake. Lots to do in the area. The house is perfect for a family gathering. The property managers were very responsive.

Wonderful/ Beautiful House
Our family had a wonderful time in this cabin. We loved the “sound-proofness” of the multi-level design: could enjoy great evening fellowship and laughs without waking the little ones. The hikes nearby are extremely picturesque- willow creek has a gorgeous waterfall within easy hiking distance. The indoor basketball court was a hit with the brothers, the outside backyard area is fabulous but unused by us because of the snow, and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils. But beware: no locks on the bathroom doors might cause an accidental walk-in of someone upon your business. Also, the instructions to take the trash “down the hill” on Sunday night is vague and resulted in a raccoon-fest that took me nearly an hour to cleanup on Monday morning, which interfered with the check-out time which is a tad early @10am and strictly enforced. Our overall verdict is a fantastic weekend getaway with just a couple of hiccups that probably could have been averted via better communication with the host. Many thanks!!!

Great home with a well stocked kitchen!
We had a group of 17 people staying here, and the kitchen had plenty of cookware and serving-ware for all of us. The multiple levels made it easy to keep the noisy game nights upstairs while babies slept downstairs. Plenty of room for a large group, and home was beautiful and well kept. 100% would stay there again.

Great house for big families.
We had an amazing time at the Iyer house! The different levels allowed everyone to have their own space so it didn’t ever feel crowded. The kids loved the basketball court and fire pit. The only downside is that with a large group it can be noisy because there are no carpets in the house.

Bass Lake Vacation
Overall this house was great! a few things that I felt like should be addressed. 1. Large downstairs patio had weeds growing out of cracks and a berry bush over grown from over the fence wasn't super safe will small kids. 2. All darts were broken 3. One way street with the across the street neighbors plants weeds growing into the street making it even a smaller street. 4. only parking for 4 cars. 5. Those are observations, not deal killers. We had a full house and it worked well. Overall, I would book this property again.

Bass Lake stay July 2019
Beautiful property, able to accommodate our large family comfortably. Use of the dock was great as we brought jet skis and also rented a boat for tubing. Only issues we had were the oven controls were very touchy, difficult to operate and some of the bedroom and bathroom locks were broken. Overall, a great place to stay!
