"The hotel in general was nice. However there were 10-15 kids hanging out in the lobby and front door. Seemed like a school was being held there. It was very unusual. Also, parking was impossible. None existed. If it wasn’t for the kindness of a local gentleman I do not know what we would have done. If you are not driving that’s a different story. "The hotel is really “Grand!” Eventually, it will be updated for aesthetic reasons. But, for now - everything is functional and looks good, even though,- not very modern looking. But, everything is kept clean and tidy.marble stairs, high ceilings. Large rooms, wide balconies. Decent mattresses, refrigerator. "

"Property was very nice and clean. Couple of issues I had.1. We waited outside for an hour and half waiting to get in. I tried to call but no answer. Finally a neighbor came and let us in. They asked me to upload our passports to the site on Expedia but there is nowhere to upload it to. So without uploading we couldn’t get our room. We found the housekeeper who was able to upload the passports and get us into our rooms. It was frustrating but worth it. 2. The hot water tank is small, only enough for one person to shower. "

"This unique lodging in an historic palazzo is located in the central part of the city. Major squares are within five minute walk. Parking can be a challenge but the property offers valet service for an extra charge. Breakfast offferings were very good with a variety of options. Staff were friendly and helpful."
