Lovely on the River
The property and the home were as described and loved it. Especially being right on the river and walking distance to the downtown area. Enough amentities, well stocked. I would stay again. Just have one complaint and a few suggestions for the property owners. 1. Complaint is that when we booked looking on VRBOwe did not realize that both VRBO and VASCAR charged fees. The fees were high for VASCAR and to be hit with another $227 for VRBO with out our knowledge was not good customer service. Didn’t get a receipt or email just a charge on my credit card Our suggestions are: 1. Need to switch out the front lock. Difficult to lock when we left. The mattress in the small bedroom up stairs was old and uncomfortable. Felt more like a sofa bed mattress. Everything else in home was, very good. Thank you Camille Zapolsky

NO HEAT IN HOUSE!!
5 adults all over 55 came off the river very cold and in need of a warm place. The pilot light for the heater was not lit and would not light. Went back and forth with rep about when it could be fixed and finally had to find other accommodations. We were actually gathered around the oven trying to warm ourselves before leaving. We have done this trip twice a year for many years and this would have been the second time to use this house. But after what we went through, we will never again use VRBO. I must say that the, I believe the Vacasa manager, not the immediate person I delt with to correct this problem was outstanding. She followed up with me and agreed that we should be refunded. We were refunded what I was told was all that she had control of. Out of the $1,534.97 spent I was only refunded $1,006.79. VRBO would not help in any way and not only were we left with a bill of $528.18 for trying to warm up in front of an oven for a few hours. It was a nightmare dealing with VRBO!! We all travel both nationally and internationally and will not use VRBO in the future after this experience!!!!

Perfect Get Away
We really enjoyed this house. It is in a perfect location to walk around town and get to Glenwood or Aspen easily. The house is clean and well equipped for everyone. We had an infant and four teenagers and the house was great for everyone. Looking forward to staying here again.

More Than A Babbling Brook
The sounds of the river just feet away from the A frame cabin was such a pleasure to listen to. The cabin is rustic and we felt like we were glamping more than staying in someone's home. There was plenty of room for 10 people and the location was great . The center of town is only a "swinging bridge " away. Aspen is about a 20 min. ride . Hanging Lake and Maroon Bells are easily visited from this location.

This house is cozy. The location is right on the Frying Pan River. We could sit on the back deck and enjoy watching and hearing the river. I could fish from the bank of the river. The neighborhood is quiet. Overall our stay was lovely.

Great location and amenities
The property is located right on the Fryingpan River across from main street. It was well-stocked with everything needed for a 4-night stay. I would highly recommend this property if you're looking for something on the river and close to town!

Location, location, location!
The location of this lot, right on the river, is ideal. To go to bed hearing the roaring Frying Pan River was a treat! It is a beautiful location. It is a fly fisherman's paradise. Also, the proximity to the gorgeous Reudi Reservoir, Maroon Bells, Aspen, and Glenwood Springs make this a superb locality. We had a rough start with the property not having been cleaned at all - so quite a shock upon entrance. It took a while to communicate with local people to make things right. Make sure you ask for specifics regarding all amenities (like: how many glasses are there in the kitchen? Are there grilling utensils? Do we need our own hot pot holders?, etc). In other words, kitchen was ill-equipped. A day after we left the rental, we received finalization for different aspects that went wrong during our stay. Turnkey did refund us a night's stay for the difficulties that ensued upon our arrival. We are thankful for a gracious resolution.

Riverside retreat close to Aspen
This was a great stay in cozy house close to Aspen. Being right next to the river, giving it soothing sounds of river floating right by your window - very peaceful and meditative. Turnkey management was super quick to respond to all of the questions that we had and check-in and check-out processes were super easy and seamless. The property is ~20-30min drive to any of the ski areas and 30 min back to Glenwood Springs if you wanted to visit the hot springs. The house had a stocked kitchen and rooms were comfortable for the stay. It took us a bit to figure out all the light switches and lighting, but other than that everything was great. We did not get to use the fireplace, but that is available in main living area and the master bedroom. Only two showers, so that was a bit challenging for 8 people but we made it work. The main living area and dining is tight, but cozy. Grocery shopping was close and accessible. Would definitely stay again!

Basalt Hunting
Nice , comfortable, house . We were there to hunt elk near Basalt . We were able to contain the dirt and snow to the large utility room . I would suggest to the owner and manager to have things like mops and snow shovels at the house so guests could take better care of the place . Other than that , great place

Excellent Location
This is a great location if you want to enjoy downtown Basalt. Everything was within easy walking distance especially with the suspended walk bridge at the end of the street. The house has great possibilities but falls very short of being a great rental. Probably best described as lacking freshness! We were there for 6 nights and I never figured out how to turn all the lights in the various rooms. Most of them simply did not work. The lighting can only be described as very poor and the house is very dark. The electronic notebook that Turnkey provides gives good information about the local area but has nothing on how to operate items in the house. We had to call/text about internet logon information. Please note that this house does not have air conditioning if you are planning a summer visit.
