"The food in the restaurant is superb, the service prompt, friendly and efficient and the rooms comfortable. The hotel is well maintained given the footfall (number of people they can accommodate and the years they have been in business..... Other hotels have something to learn from the Webbington!). Of particular note is the massage I got from Eloise in the Wellbeing Spa. This was the best I have had for years and I have had a lot of massages so recognise an exceptionally skilled masseuse. Thanks Eloise."

"Couldn’t be happier with our choice of hotel room. We didn’t arrive until about 1930hrs, but was greeted by a lovely lady on reception, who asked if we wanted to eat that evening (which we didn’t) & if we needed breakfast (which we didn’t). We paid our £10 as we had been successful in an upgrade request online earlier in the day &, boy, was it worth it. A stunning view from our room (107) of the garden & golf course. The room was very clean, comfortable & quiet. I have to be honest, we didn’t eat here as we couldn’t afford the extra on top, so we provided our own food. Would definitely stay here again. Our daughter is at Bath university, so we probably will! "

"Easy check in. We had parked elsewhere as underground carpark appeared closed but apparently you have to get a code from reception to use their carpark. Breakfast very good indeed. Lady serving breakfast is excellent at her job. Would stay again. Room 5 was quiet, could do with a lick of paint but very clean. "

"Good welcome, nice room,lovely pool. Lovely large bed, but sadly very small sheets that didnt even cover the mattress- surely thats basic? Very disappointed at what was very sloppy housekeeping. "
