History, Circa 1890...
Built in 1890, this house began as a private residence, but by 1918 was operated as an Inn/Restaurant by Gertrude Thompson whose husband worked as a foreman on the railroad. In 1945 it was purchased by Sanford Hill who renamed it the Chippanock Inn (bright north star). He continued to operate it until his death in the early 1990'S.
Historic beauty and charm with just the right modern updates, and nestled in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, The Bartlett Village House is the perfect location to get-away with your private group that you will want to return to again and again for years to come.
