"Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We didn’t use washing machine as only stayed 3 nights. Has eye level oven and ideal for the less mobile as everything on one floor. Cosy, comfortable lounge with tv and plenty of books to read. Would happily stay again."

"Annual girls trip; expectation of relaxation and fun. Upon arrival the Lodge was clean, new carpets, clean walls, new kitchen and well appointed/decorated throughout- looks can be deceiving. Preliminary walk around and checks found there was no fire alarms, fire blanket and no Welcome pack or inventory list of what to expect or where to go for emergency planning. Locks to back door broken- no keys to the other back and side door. Mouse trap and fresh droppings under the sink. No PAT testing of...

"A beautiful property with bags of charm. It was very well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our hosts had left a lovely welcome basket and texted to make sure we had everything we needed. Well placed for visiting Rutland water and exploring the local area. It didn’t bother us but one thing to consider if you have light sleepers in your party: Inevitably as an old property the upstairs floors creak a bit which some may find disturbing."

"i went with my daughter, had an amazing time! my cousins were at arena uk just 7 mins drive. so had the comfort of being able to relax at the beginning and end of day. "This is a really lovely property, lots of space with an excellent, very well equiped, kitchen leading on to a big secure garden. we were a three generation family with a dog and the space worked brilliantly.
