"I'll start by saying that depending on what you're looking for and how you adjust to things will determine how you feel about this place. The property is not new so if you're looking for a contemporary "shiny" and "fancy" vacation home, this isn't for you. There is a smell but I believe Jose gives fair warning in the property summary. "The apartment is very nice. Very clean, air-conditioned and peaceful. The hospitality of the owner was great. She was very kind and greeted us upon arrival. Overall, my stay at Family Villa was great. I look forward to booking again to stay in the near future. The apartment is close to the beach, shops, restaurants, pharmacy and about a 45min drive to San Juan. Very great location. I will definitely recommend friends and family to stay at this location."

"This was our first trip to Puerto Rico and because there were 9 of us decided to use VRBO rather than pay for multiple hotel rooms. The house had enough space, was clean and the Lourdes was very helpful. You will need to rent a vehicle to get around the island and use Google translate if you do not speak Spanish. "The place is right across from tide pools which were perfect for little kids and adults alike - 1 minute west, the beach was awesome for kiteboarding - lots of surf and great winds.
