"The approach to the hotel there are loads of cigarette ends by the door way. Lots of rubbish in the bushes generally untidy. The pub itself externally is 3 different colours and the porchway roof had tiles missing "

"Other than it being insanely hot in the hotel, it was great! Clean, comfortable, quiet, big car park, can walk into town in 10 minutes. There is their pub, a MacDonalds and Chinese restaurant on the doorstep. You can easily walk to Loch Lomond, the forest/park, pubs and shops. The hotel isn't staffed and you check in inside the pub (separate building) but it was easy and the staff there were lovely."

"Great value accommodation and excellent food (also great value) and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was small but very clean and comfortable. It's a sports bar with numerous TV screens and it can get a bit noisy, but ear plugs are provided. Not the greatest location but it was convenient for our requirements. "

"Lovely place, very clean and comfortable rooms. We had a a bit of an issue at check in, we had booked a family room which turned out to be a double bed and a trundle bed which they brought up. The trundle bed was not fit for purpose really, it didn't look safe to sleep on. Couldn't fault the staff or the manager though, they were very helpful and made sure to try and resolve the issue for us straight away.
