"The Bear Cabin is a such a gem. It was cozy, clean and very comfortable. Great location. Hot tub is a total added bonus. The cabin had everything we could need and restaurants no more than 10-15 mins away. We wish we stayed longer!"

"From the fresh cut flowers on the back porch to the wonderful homey ambience inside, this place is truly a home away from home. Beautiful scenery outdoors, and comfy and cozy inside. The front deck was beautifully decorated with fall mums, and inside various plants, basking in the sun make this cabin come alive. The host was a delight to communicate with, and available every time we had a question or need. We are already planning our trip back. "

"We returned to the same cabin 3 years later. In addition to swimming and hiking right at the property, we took an afternoon trip to Stowe and another to Burlington. Back at the cabin, we enjoyed a family fun night playing pool, air hockey, darts, and cornhole in the basement. We also cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen. The cabin serves as a comfortable home base to explore Vermont!"

"The family and I wanted to spend a classic New England weekend in a log cabin in the winter. Unfortunately, kids got sick so I just went with my dog. We had a ball. "The house was is in a great location. Our biggest complaint was that the listing said two bathrooms and there is only 1 1/2. Further, the 1/2 bath in the basement is very noisy as it uses some special pump. The house has plenty of bedrooms, a nice big yard and the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/etc."
