"The cottage is very cute and gives the experience of an authentic Irish country cottage however it wasn’t as tidy as a renter should expect and we had issues with the hot water and radiator heat the entire time of our stay. We addressed the issues with the owner and he tried to rectify the hot water and heating but we never had consistency the entirety of our stay. "Lovely character cottage and lovely host. We didn't get any check-in instructions but our host popped out to greet us when we arrived (late) and showed us quickly around so it was no problem. Very well equipped which made for a relaxed stay."

"A family stay in Ballyboy View for the first time. Ideal rural location with easy access (short drive) to Manorhamilton town. All you should need provided for in the house, with a starter pack of teas and soda bread. Ideal for a short family stay with children. "What an amazing place - a true hidden gem! The yurts are spaced out (cery private), warm (burners installed), very comfortable, tastefully decorated with come with stunning views. The communual area is large, has all you could need and offers the perfect setting for disconnect and relaxation. The bathroom and shower rooms are immaculate and the staff and owners really friendly and accommodating. Really highly recommend booking - you will not be disappointed! "

Surpassed all expectations

"We were treated like lord and lady in this wonderful country estate by the very warm and welcoming host. The house is full of beautiful furniture and decorations. We had access to a sitting room where the fireplace kept the room warm and comfortable, and we could relax for as long as we liked. The dining room was the site of the breakfasts which were amazing—delicious full Irish breakfasts with plenty of fresh fruits. Our only regret was not staying longer."

Lovely Visit - 11 out of 10!

"We had a serene and relaxing visit at Hillcrest B&B. Noeleen is a wonderful host and gave us wonderful suggestions where to visit and hike in Yeats Country and beyond! Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, and our daily breakfast was complete with farm fresh eggs, pancakes, porridge and pastries. We so enjoyed being part of a working farm, and the views of Lough Arrow were nothing short of stunning, especially at sunset. Thank you again, Noeleen and Kieran for a lovely time, and we will surely be back again for another visit!"
