    Propriété dans le centre de Barr à proximité des villages touristiques et de Strasbourg. Super emplacement pour une maison typique. Sauna très apprécié ! joli jardin et terrasse agréable pour un dîner barbecue. On adore ! Les propriétaires sont très accueillants

    Charme et tranquillité dans un village alsacien
    Nous avons apprécié le charme de cette vieille maison, ameublement, disposition des pièces... dotée néanmoins les atouts de la modernité (cuisine, salle de bain sauna.. ), son jardin, l accueil des hôtes présents généreux sympathiques et attentifs sans être intrusifs. Située dans le centre du village mais au calme cependant m la location nous a permis de s immerger dans la culture alsacienne. Autre atout : Elle est située dans le centre du village de vignerons à forte identité sur le Piémont non loin de Strasbourg, et des lieux de visites et départs de randonnées en forêt. Marc

    Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Besonders für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist der Garten mit den Ziegen, Hühnern und Obstbäumen eine spannende Sache. Die Vermieter sind sehr net und haben uns die Zeit in Barr mit Ausflugsempfehlungen und netten Gesprächen versüßt. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!!!

    Eine authentische Ferienwohnung für traditionsverbundene Elsaß-Freunde
    Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und von den sehr sympathischen Gastgebern Nicole und Jean-Luc zuvorkommend betreut. Die geräumige und gemütliche Wohnung ist geschmackvoll mit authentischen antiken Möbeln ausgestattet, bietet aber allen modernen technischen Komfort, was Küche, Sanitäranlagen und eine Sauna betrifft. Die zentrale Lage im malerischen, aber weniger "touristischen" Städtchen Barr hat viele Vorzüge und ist ruhig. Wanderungen in die nähere Umgebung zu den Schlössern und in die Weinberge können unmittelbar von der Wohnung aus gestartet werden. Der große und naturbelassene Garten ist eine Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung. Wir werden gewiss wiederkommen, da wir (zwei Ehepaare) uns in unserer Urlaubswoche sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Dafür ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Gastgeber! - Einziges Problem ist der geringe Parkplatzraum, insbesondere die (zu) enge Durchfahrt für mittelgroße bis größere PKW. Es gibt jedoch in der Nähe (ca. 200 m) einen kostenfreien und modernen, beleuchteten öffentlichen Parkplatz (hinter dem Musée Folie Marco an der rue du Dr Sultzer) oder gebührenfreie Parkplätze in der rue des lievres.

    A beautiful Alsatian experience
    My husband and I spent 3 months at Gite le nid de cigognes. The expectations of our stay in Alsace were exceeded due to our hosts Nicole and Jean-Luc Dreyer and their family, their Alsatian origins, their lovely property and its location in Alsace. The large property is in the middle of an old village on the wine route, hosting historic buildings and gardens; truly unique. The entry is dated 1574. When the property doors are open, visitors stop for pictures. The gite is clean and the galley kitchen is equipped for cooking with major applicanes, roasting pans, pots, tableware, and cooking accessories. We prepared most of our meals in the gite and enjoyed eating outside on our porch. The gite was spacious with 3 floors. The 3 showers provided hot water and appropriate water pressure. The gite’s architecture dates from the 1600’s, for a true Alsatian experience. The renovation done by the Dreyers has modernized electric, plumbing and appliances, which all work well. The bedding was comfortable and sheets made of quality linen cloth. There is a lower room with TV where we connected our Apple TV. The Wifi which is intermittent. The main living area is simple with floor and ceiling lighting, good natural light, has a couch and dining table for 8. There is parking in the secure environ of the complex. The property is large with beautiful gardens, sitting areas and animals. The Dreyers are active in maintaining this historic property and have new projects ongoing to enhance it. Barr is a wonderful place to explore Alsace. The village hosts a Saturday weekly market, with fresh produce, cheese, meats, fish, and bakers. Since Barr is along the wine route, there are many vignerons in the village and others are within walking, biking or driving distance. We went to two wine festivals in neighboring villages, just a walk away. We only had to walk out the door to quickly access hiking trails. Jean-Luc is a certified hiking guide and we were fortunate to join him and Nicole in a couple of wonderful hikes. A small grocery is in Barr and another larger grocer in the next village. The Dreyers live on the property and made us feel welcome and comfortable. They were generous in sharing from their garden, homemade products and a tarte flambe dinner cooked in their wood fired oven. Nicole’s elegant graciousness and Jean-Luc’s enthusiastic love of life made our Alsatian experience special. I would love to return here.

    Nettes Haus und schöner Garten
    Wir haben im Ferienhaus 4 Tage mit unserer Familie verbracht und uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist liebevoll renoviert mit vielen schönen Details. Der Garten mit den Hühnern und Ziegen ist toll für Kinder. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattetet, was man so braucht. Zentrale Lage im Ort, Restaurants und Weingüter sind in Gehreichweite. Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Inserate für die beiden Ferienwohnungen enthalten jeweils alle Bilder, so dass man nicht genau sieht, was in welche Wohnung gehört. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!

    Beautiful house in a gorgeous area
    Our family adored this beautiful house! The owners were lovely and so helpful. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Our children loved feeding the goats and chickens and the garden was so beautiful that we spent a day painting it. We treasure our time in Barr and we will definitely choose this rental again when we return.

    Friendly attentive owners
    The property is a step back in time, loaded with antiques and history itself. Nice courtyard to relax in. The owners live in next building and are easy to contact. Owners are fluent in at least English, German, and French.

    Die Lage im Dorf ist sehr gut, die Vermieter sehr freundlich. Das Haus selbst ist schön renoviert worden und hat ihr rustikales Flair behalten. Der Garten könnte sehr schön sein, ist allerdings nicht sehr gepflegt, und das ist schade.

    Séjour de rêve au coeur de l'Alsace viticole
    La description des lieux donne un aperçu précis de ce qui nous attend, auquel s'ajoute le charme une fois sur place. L'accueil est chaleureux, le gîte est confortable, décoré avec goût, le jardin est un espace intime, plein de recoins et de surprises qui se laissent découvrir aux détours des bosquets ... Nous y avons croisé des chèvres naines, des poules élégantes et des chats amicaux ! Les propriétaires ont su nous faire partager leur passion de l'Alsace, proche ou plus lointaine, et sous toutes ses formes : lieux, patrimoine, gastronomie, traditions, savoir-faire ... Nous avons eu le sentiment de nous installer dans la maison d'amis ... En un mot un séjour au Nid de cigognes est inoubliable ! Nous reviendrons !!!

    Idéal pour une famille
    La maison où nous avons passé une semaine est une belle demeure ancienne en coeur de ville, avec un charme ancien (parquets, pan de bois) mais des commodités des plus modernes (salles d'eau, cuisine). Bonne combinaison ! Nos hôtes ont été très accueillants. Je dirais que cet hébergement convient à merveille pour une famille avec enfants comme la nôtre, Un groupe d'adultes y trouverait sans doute moins son compte : certaines des chambres sont en enfilade. Barr est une vraie perle. C'est une base idéale pour explorer l'Alsace car située à bonne distance de tout.

    gites agreable tres bien situé dans Barr, des hotes charmants disponible, et de bon conseils. Le gite interieur tres bien, cuisine salle de sejour tres fonctionnel, les chambres de vrais petits cocons super bien chauffées. Tres jolis les marchés de Noel sous la neige, et pour le dejeuner ou le diner "La Maison Kammerzell" a Strasbourg. Oui je recommande cette location a un ami.

    Pasamos unos dias maravillosos en la casa. Está situada en un pueblo alsaciano típico pero no frecuentado por los turistas, Por otra parte està muy bien comunicado y tienen todos los servicios necesarios para pasar unos dias. Los propietarios son encantadores y muy hospitalarios. Nos encontramos com en casa. Recuerdos Nicole, Jean-Luc y Martine fue un placer.
