"Reception was kind and welcoming, but the room (Dolcetto) was very odd. Tried to find it charming, a long cave, but it's strange. The foot of the bed is right upon the curtains on the opposite wall. Sleep was the big problem. The room sits over the socializing courtyard and restaurant. The mild thump of music continued into the evening, followed after closing by voices laughing in the courtyard below the room. The drapes are too thin to block out the light in the courtyard. Finally, the restaurant was a very unhappy experience. An indifferent reception upon arrival by Ingrid turned cold when we asked if we could sit near the window. The food was unimpressive. With a penalty assesed of one extra night stay, we were permitted to move to another vineyard based property in Diano D'Alba."

"What a beautiful place to stay, the scenery is amazing to wake up to every morning. The breakfast was delicious and so many choices to choose from. The staff were incredible and very attentive to your needs. We had laundry service and it was done in a very timely manner! Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area "

"It was a modern hotel. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The best part was the water pressure and hot water in the shower. The front desk was helpful in arranging a taxi and giving suggestions for touring the city."

"The property is amazing, well designed, very well kept and has a wonderful view of the Langhe valley/vineyards. The only thing I can say that was amiss was that our balcony and room faced the entry driveway so when cars pass, it was a bit noisy. We asked to be moved but the only other suite available was a few categories above and even though my partner and I were celebrating our birthdays, they did not give us the room with the better view. If I were them, I would have since it was a Monday/Tuesday and no one would have booked that room anyway. Overall, it was still a wonderful stay. "

"Beautiful property with lovely views of the Barolo area. The Lab restaurant was a treat and executed great food. Room was great with balcony. Swimming pool was very welcoming in the hot weather. The staff were lovely and breakfast was great with a good choice. Found the whole ambience very peaceful."
