"The Ffolkes hotel is far better than expected. The rooms that are dog friendly were spot on for everything a dog needs. The closed in yard perfect and easy clean. The additional room facilities for the guests are high end and very clean."

The food - at both breakfast and dinner - was delicious and there was an excellent selection of wine. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with all needs met and a very decent shower. "A great village pub that also offers accommodation. Food was excellent and better quality you would find in most pubs, and even some restaurants. Breakfast was nice also. All the staff are supper friendly. Bedrooms are up a flight of stairs and of course, in a village pub, there is no lift, so if you have problems climbing stairs. maybe not here. If ever we are in this area, we would have no hesitation in booking The Black Lion."
