We knew that Barneveld was devastated by a tornado in 1984 & we thought there’d be a museum. There was not, but was told that the library had many articles /stories about that terrible event.

Small town comfort with a log cabin twist
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only recommendation is better food options, and later service. It was clean, water park waant extreme, but was just enough to have fun. I would most definitely stay here again."

We drove to Mt. Horeb and ate at the Grumpy Troll. Great area. Lot's of fun. My 6 year old grandson is still talking about the Cave of the Mounds. Great trip.
