The location and room are great and we ate two meals in the Brewery/Restaurant downstairs owned by the same people as the accommodation. "Louella and Tony have created a relaxing, peaceful retreat at the top of the hill just south of Yeppoon central. It was clean, quiet, and we enjoyed the views from the back deck and the afternoon breezes as they came in. We have stayed in many hosted accommodations and this is one of the best. Despite being downstairs, we didn’t hear foot traffic upstairs. The neighbourhood is quiet too, just what we were after. "The unit is clean, the views match what is promised, and the unit is well situated in the heart of Yeppoon, an easy walk to the beach and the shops. The only minor downside is that people with mobility issues might find accessing the beach/shops on foot more of a challenge, but would be able to access the flat itself from the car park without any issues."

"Great space for family of 5 but needs some TLC.... blinds broken or missing, entrance to front door overgrown and no shelter, which made our departure in torrential rain quite difficult as the carport was not near our room. Foldout bed for 5th person was located in the foyer with no fan or aircon so we had to use the lounge upstairs. Right on the beach though which the kids loved."

The pictures indicate the beach is right out back, which it's not and can't be seen or appreciated unless you take the 5min walk and it is lovely. If you have any mobility issues, you won't be able to get into the spa/bath/shower as it's so high and there's no step. The bedroom AC cycled on and off all night every minute which...
