"Nice spot if you dont want to move and have done a big shop before goingand buy atleast 1 bag of wood per day from spar before hand. Suggest a small 4x4 to get in and bring your wellys. Well worth itain. Ow"

"it was just what we were looking for . . . a few minor things need looking at - a few more pots and pans. We couldn't;t get the woodturner to stop leaking smoke. But no big complaints - I'd recommend it"

"Gorgeous farmhouse, in beautiful surroundings. A few more cobwebs than we’d expect, and some issues with lighting (a kitchen light that stays on for 3 seconds, then has a rest for a second, then back on etc etc. Some of the information for guests could be updated or made clearer ie where some facilities are, refuse disposal etc, and some of the basics like a sharp knife would be helpful, but to be fair, the owner and the cleaner were both incredibly helpful."

"Really beautiful property, in walking distance from the little town and train station. Will miss the crashing noise of the waves, it was so tranquil. The owner was easy to deal with and wouldn't hesitate staying there again."

"This was just what we wanted. Peaceful, warm, well equipped and a stunning view of the sea. Comfortable beds, bathroom with a rain head shower, kitchen with EVERYTHING you need, large TV and comfortable reclining leather sofas and dining table upstairs. "A fantastic relaxing retreat for anyone that likes a bit of peace and quiet. A real escape from daily life. Beautiful surroundings in woodland with fantastic hosts, making it a perfect retreat. Will definitely be going back sometime soon. "

Great hotel

"We stayed just one night but found the location just perfect being just a few minutes walk to the seafront and the town with plenty of parking and views out over the sea. The hotel was dog friendly we had a very comfortable large room and a lovely breakfast with great service. I can’t recommend this hotel more…. it was perfect!"

"Exemplary customer service and friendly staff - cannot fault them at all! Great dinner and breakfast too. Great location for anyone wishing to escape to a quiet fishing village and/or the local hills, whether for the views or watch the military jets flying low overhead (or below them!) Would very happily return and recommend! Highly recommend visitors also visit the birthplace inspiration behind Thomas The Tank Engine at nearby Tywyn Wharf Railway Station. "
