"Hotel has modern reception and bar area, the room was clean and big and well equipped, area is close to shops, pubs, bars and restaurants with heating but no Aircon, the area around hotel looks a bit scary if alone in the evening as it is dark/dull and looks a bit run down but don’t let that put ya off as the hotel is in a good location and is nice"

"Spa was excellent - very clean - lots to do and the choice of pools is great . I liked the 11am checkout as it gave us time to use the spa in the morning prior to breakfast and checking out . Surrounding area very nice , historic , beautiful town . The staff at the hotel were very friendly , approachable and helpful . All the the staff are a credit to this wonderful hotel . We will definitely be returning ! "
