"We arrived about 40 mins before check in time and parked our car in the last space in the hotel's carpark. I went in to explain that we were going to leave our car and the very friendly lady on reception told us that we could check in early. We stayed in a lovely room that had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. That evening we had a few drinks in the very popular bar but we didn't eat in the restaurant (we had other plans). The next morning we were greeting in the restaurant for breakfast by a very cheerful lady who explained the breakfast menu to us. Breakfast was great-plenty of cold choice and the cooked breakfast was fantastic! Check out was quick and easy. If ever we were in the area again we would definitely stay at The Swan. "

"The hotel was great for our one night stay. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Parts of the hotel could do with some work but overall was a lovely stay. The staff were the best thing about it, they went above and beyond in all areas, the pool, the reception, the bar and the restaurant."

"Really comfortable room and bed with a modern bathroom that’s super clean. Staff were welcoming and the breakfast was great with lots of options. Parking is easy and it’s really accessible for visiting our family. Would suggest a little bit more personal interaction to gauge why a customer visits and share what else is available food/drink wise from the hotel besides breakfast. Will be staying again in a couple of weeks and looking forward to it."

"The staff could not have been better. My daughter left a gold necklace in her robe pocket at the spa and they found it and returned it. We had an early start and they provided a lovely packed breakfast. Reception staff were so kind and the check in process fluent. Parking was simple and the room beautiful. We hope to return."

"I booked a double room for a chilled out 1 night stay for my birthday for me and my partner . I was really impressed with the room it was spacious, modern, had a good size tv and the bed must be the comfiest bed iv ever slept in! The room was really cosy and had a very nice homely feel to it . The breakfast in the morning wasnt an unlimited buffet breakfast as advertised but i was told this was because the hotel was quiet at the time we stayed but they offered a made to order breakfast which was lovely and poasibly better than a buffet breakfast because all the items were cooked fresh and to how i liked it . My only negative i can say is that there are hundreds of signs around the carpark saying you must pay online and enter the carpark code which cost £15 for the duration of our stay and when we went to check in we were told to enter out car reg and it would only be £3 because we were staying in the hotel which i felt a bit ripped off about , there were nothing on the signs to say if your a guest of the hotel to pay at reception and there is even a few signs literally right at the door of the entrance saying to pay online . The guy at reception did say he would try to refund the amount on my invoice when we checked out but he wasnt there the following day and the person at the desk had no idea that we were told this the day before so we didnt get our money back so that naffed me off a bit but with that aside i would love to come and stay again "
