The town has a superb church. Great walks or bike rides are possible along the coast or inland.

 In the kitchen: oven, electric hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher. Quality household appliances and dishes.
 1 WC.
Upstairs a large bright bedroom with 1 double bed, a wardrobe. Shower room with WC, sink, including tumble dryer, washing machine. hair dryer. Ironing board + iron.
Second floor: 2 bedrooms
 Attic with 140 bed, one with 1 wardrobe and the other a chest of drawers.

Mon chere Barfleur
We stayed here for a week during a mini heatwave in October. The owners contact met us promptly at the house and we exchanged keys and other information about parking (park on the left from Wednesdays). We met some of the neighbours who were extremely friendly. The furnishings are perfectly comfortable and adequate. The kitchen is well stocked with all utensils, therefore we had to purchase nothing. There is a glorious cabinet in the kitchen which houses all the crockery. Its very ornate and a beautiful piece. Upstairs, there are three well sized bedrooms. We had the main and it was a joy to throw open the windows in the morning. The bed in this room was slightly too small for us so maybe the owner could consider a larger bed. The bells of the local church ring every 15 minutes so light sleepers like myself will be disturbed. However the area is extremely quiet. The cottage is situated in a side street between the sea and the harbour. It is perfectly placed for seaside and harbour walks and perhaps an unsteady walk home after visiting the superb bar on the harbour (2 seconds away). There are several other great restaurants in the area, within walking distance. This place is a gem and we will hopefully get back to it. The owner was excellent at answering e mails and was most cordial in his replies. All in all he was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you. .

Une très belle découverte
Un gîte vraiment charmant, avec ses murs en pierre épais, ses quelques meubles authentiques, son escalier étroit et la petite fenêtre du chien-assis, avec son volet, à fermer avant de se coucher Très bien équipé en vaisselle et électroménager, on peut cuisiner sans problème les bons produits locaux Idéalement situé dans une petite rue à coté du Port, des marchands de poisson frais du matin, du marché, du grand parking, etc... Il y a énormément à déguster et à découvrir dans cette magnifique région que je recommande
