"Abisko Turiststation STF is a great place to stay. It's located close to the train station and offers a variety of rooms from hotel, to hostel, to cabins. We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfect for us. The one item I will note is that you need to ethier bring your own sheets/sleeping bag or you can rent linnens from the hotel (much like a hostel). I am glad I reached out to them before we arrived so they could inform me of this as it doesn't seem to be listed on hotels.com. Otherwise, this hotel is great, most of the activities pick up at this location. The only other item to note is that this is not in Abisko proper. So if you need to get food from a grocery store, you should bring it with you or plan to walk to the store as there are limited transportation options once you arrive. "

"The hotel itself was pretty cozy. The staff were friendly, for the most part. They have a sauna, gym, restaurant, lobby bar, game room, and a bar downstairs. The views were incredible. There were a lot of activities to keep busy. The only downside is the cost to get to the hotel from the airport in Kiruna. There were no trains or buses available after our flight arrived or before we departed, so we had to pay for a taxi both trips. It cost us $268 for the drive to the hotel, and $238 back to the airport. The cab drivers will up charge you for everything, so be prepared."

"Ended up arriving later than expected to find no staff at the desk (beyond the 3:30 cut-off). Front doors locked and no answer on the phone to call. Turns out there were instructions (thru expedia) for the need to call if you were to be late. Once they called back (and someone let me in to the lobby) i was able to get a key to a room. After that it was smooth sailing. I was uncertain of the area around the hotel but as my stay progressed I realized it to be busy and safe. Surrounded by malls, restaurants and a grocery nearby. Interesting things to look at near the port a couple blocks away. Overall a comfortable stay. Breakfast available each morning."

"Nice propertyt, near the town supermarket. This is a must during one stays, specially when most restaurants close after the summer season. It is also very close to the lake side if you come to Abisko to catch a glimpse of the Nortern lights where you can just walk over and have one of the best viewing area. The staffs are superb and very helpful. I highly recommend and I will stay here again should I visit Abisko again."

"This was an amazing apartment that looked like it was newly renovated. Such a beautiful building and nice patio overlooking the water. Had a nice fridge, stove and everything you need to cook yourself. Only stayed one night but this I would highly recommend this spot."

"Booked this 1 hour prior to our stay. What a beautiful new spot very serene and friendly hosts. The space was small, but clean, well kept and had a beautiful balcony/patio to watch sunset. Would recommend to anyone looking for a spot between senja and tromso. Lovely."
