"Is a great location to stay in central Porto. Central to everything. Very close to bar district. Right beside the tower in Porto making it easy to find. Place was clean and well stocked. One thing to be aware of is the elevator is small and hits only every second floor so some steps are required. It's not located directly on a street that has car access. Driving in Porto can be a challenge so plan your route accordingly. The parking they provide might be 400 m and 300 ft in elevation...

"This is a good place in Porto due to the location and access to the Trindade metro station. Amenities are abundant, whether historic sites, grocery stores, bakeries and restaurants. The communication between the girls at the Spot office was excellent, we didn’t have any problem with a later check due to the office being closed. I would recommend if you want an apartment in a central part of the city."

"What a terrible experience. The property requires an access code to enter the rooms and I didn't receive the access code for my first night. I spent more than 2 hours with hotels.com support while they tried to contact the property to get me into the room. I also tried contacting the property myself but they did not answer. I did get into the property the next day but it left a sour taste in my mouth. Worst of all, I contacted hotels.com for a refund and they said they cannot do it because...

"Amazing apartments. Pleased we upgraded to garden room with a private terrace area. Location excellent, lots of restaurants within 5 minutes. It is very peaceful and relaxing, pool area lovely. There was only one problem. We tried to order a breakfast basket on second day and they said it was too late and had to do on first day. This wasn’t made clear when checking in and there were instructions on reception stating you had to order before 7pm night before for delivery of a basket the next day....

"Nice 2 bed apartment. 2 twin and one Double bed. Wardrobe is in the living room which is odd but it worked we were there for 3 days. In the middle of everything. Just remember Portugal is hilly and that is just the way it is. "

I did need to contact the staff who are not actually at the location as we had a little trouble getting in originally but they responded quickly and it seemed to be a user error. "This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."

"This apartment is very pretty. However there is no air con despite the listing saying that there is. There is also no fan so the only option was to leave the windows open which meant we had some fat mosquitos and a LOT of noise. "I would stay here again. Comfy beds, situated close to Balhao market and metro station. Easy to walk to sites in the historic district."

"If you bring a car into Porto with you this place would be exelent choice. There is no reception but someone from Sweet Porto team will meet you at the door or parking entrance around a corner. They will explain how things work, what to see, where to shop and eat. There is a full kitchen with necessary stuff for light cooking. Communication is easy though WhatsUp practically any time."
