Little Dreamhouse for 2 at the coast, 300 ms from the Beach, Vilassar/Barcelona

The two-storey house built in 1900, is part of a patrimonial colony of fishermen´s houses. It has a total size of 430 sq ft in the interior, (40 sqms) plus roof terrace and a garden with 215 sq ft.

On the ground floor you can comfortly enjoy preparing and having meals in a sit-in kitchen, while you find a beautiful bathroom with bath tub and romatic sleeping room in first floor.

The sleeping room is equipped with a cupboard a double bed and a sofa and has direct access to a roof terrace, from which you have a fabulous view of the colony, the neighbourhood gardens and the village.

A small table with chairs offers the possibility of having breakfast there at the terrace or as you like also in the small private garden, in which you will find a dining table with seating accomadation, too.

The historic fisherman´s house has been refurbished faithfully in winter/spring 2017 with a special emphasis on high quality materials: e.g. the ground floor is tiled with limestone, the bathroom with spanish cement tiles, the bedroom is equipped with oak parquet and lovingly refurbished antique or handmade furniture in the whole house and garden.

The house is also equipped with heating and wood stove, which gives cosyness also in autumn/winter season.
On request there can be placed a baby bed for 30 Euros in total.

Destination

Vilassar de Mar is known as one of the most beautiful villages at Barcelona´s coast (Costa Maresme). A prosperous living place, rather local than touristic. Its historical village centre with a worth seeing pedestrian zone and numerous historical houses and buildings.
Purchasing possibilities, groceries, farmacies, restaurants and cafes within close proximity (450 ft/ 150 meters) To the beach approx. a 3 minutes walk, to the station 6 minutes.
The ideal location for a combinated beach-city-sightseeing vacation.

Additionally the hudge national park of the Serralada offers great possibilties for different activities, e.g. hiking, (it is a quite mountainous area) mountainbiking etc. Further possibilities in close proximity: Fishing, Sailing, Surfing, Diving, Tennis, Volleyball, Water skiing, Kite-surfing

Great Location and Adorable House
We absolutely loved the adorable little house! It was exactly as described and pictured. The town of Vilassar de Mar is actually a bit bigger than we expected with many restaurants and shops so we didn't run out of options over our 2-week stay. It was wonderful and we would definitely visit again.

This place is fantastic. It’s in a really cute part of the village which is charming. There are shops and restaurants nearby. It’s very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the wood stove. The kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, milk, sugar, orange juice, bottled water, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. But you will have to buy ice, which they have at a little market around the block. Our phones did not work but Ellen was great and we worked everything out through the VRBO app. If you are worried about being outside of the city the train is reliable and gets you to the heart of town quickly. I’m really glad we stayed here!

Beautiful and Charming as the Pictures
We loved our stay here. The homeowner is gracious, helpful, responsive and attentive. The home really is as charming as it looks in the pictures. It is quite small and best shared by two who enjoy togetherness. The only drawback to the lovely garden is that the neighbor is a smoker. There are some good places to eat nearby. The train station is close and the walk takes you a few blocks through town and then along the sea. Barcelona is only 30 minutes away so you can have a leisurely breakfast at home and then spend the rest of the day in the city. The trains run frequently. I highly recommend the "Little Dreamhouse" as a perfect way to combine some relaxing time near the sea with a city adventure. Already planning my next trip back to Barcelona!

We had a great relaxing stay at the little dream house, it's just the right size for two people with everything beautifuly planned to fit the space available. We didn't want for anything. For people with mobility issues the small stairway which connects both the ground floor and first floor may be a challenge as could showering in the Bathtub but we managed addiquatly. The extra outside spaces were a bonus and nice areas to have and use in the mornings and evenings. The house is in a lovely Spanish residential area with plenty of very good restraunts, bars and a veriaty of shops to walk to, we also found it convenient to take the train from the nearby station to explore Barcelona. Bernd and Ellen were on hand with great information and gave their time to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend a stay at this exquisite and unique property.

Very beautiful place to stay
This is a beautiful little house. Much attention to detail to really make it a special stay. The owners were very friendly and helpful! The location is perfect, so nicely situated in the quaint town of Vilassar de Mar.

Rückzugsort von der Hektik Barcelonas
Da wir 10 Tage Urlaub hatten,konnten wir in aller Ruhe die Gegend erkunden und mit der Bahn ,in ca 30 min ,nach Barcelona direkt in die City fahren.Leider spielte das Wetter noch nicht so mit,so dass wir den schönen Balkon und den Vorgarten nur selten nutzen konnten ,aber der Kamin heizte wunderbar.Die Wohnung war ausreichend für 2 Personen,sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet,Küchenaustattung reichte auch aus ,um selber zu kochen- Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fussläufig in der Nähe.Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Wir haben die 10 Tage sehr genossen und sind erholt nach Hamburg zurück gekommen .

Das kleine, feine Fischerhäuschen ist wunderbar! Sehr sauber und die Einrichtung ist schön, sehr gepflegt und wirkt neuwertig. Zudem ist die Ausstattung top. Es ist alles vorhanden (Küchen- u. Badausstattung, Reinigungsmittel). Die Kommunikation mit Senora E. hat vorab und während des Aufenthaltes super geklappt. Sehr hilfsbereit und absolut bemüht den Aufenthalt perfekt zu gestalten. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmal an dieser Stelle! Wer ein liebevoll restauriertes Häuschen inmitten von Vilassar sucht, dem können wir diese schöne Unterkunft absolut empfehlen. This is a gem!
When we first mapped out the location I was just a bit concerned about where we had booked. However it turned out to be the exact opposite and our experience was pretty much perfect from start to finish. The apartment is quite cozy and for a couple that likes to cook it worked out just fine. The laundry was very useful and we found the whole place immaculately cleaned. The access is easy enough once you get a feel for the neighborhood and I was very, very pleased with how peaceful ("pin-drop quiet") the neighborhood was at night. Our host greeted us and showed us some of the "ins and outs" of staying here and it was an easy and extremely pleasant stay. The neighborhood is awesome. Quiet and sleepy till dark then bubbling alive with cafés and shopping in the evenings. We can unreservedly recommend this property and our excellent host for a getaway from the city. But if you choose to go to the city the train station is few blocks away.

Sehr schöner Urlaub
Entsprechend den anderen Bewertungen wurde das Haus wirklich sehr geschmackvoll umgebaut und eingerichtet. Es ist alles notwendige vorhanden und sehr durchdacht eingebaut. Wir haben den Aufenhalt im Garten zum Frühstücken und das abendliche Glas Wein auf der Dachterrasse sehr genossen. Abwechslungsreiche Restaurants usw. sind schnell zu erreichen. Mit dem Zug ist man schnell in Barcelona. Für uns aus einer mehr ländlichen Region war die Parkplatzsuche vor allem zum Wochenende etwas nervend, aber dann doch immer erfolgreich. ;-) Liebe Ellen, vielen Dank für die problemlose Übergabe und für einen schönen Urlaub.

Das Apartment ist charmant eingerichtet, mit allem was man braucht. Es liegt zentral, ist ruhig und zum Stand ist es 5 Minuten. Rundherum gibt es verschiede Geschäfte zum Einkaufen und eine recht grosse Auswahl an Restaurants. Ideal wenn man nicht die Hektik von Barcelona sucht und trotzdem in der Nähe sein möchte.

Das Haus in ruhiger Lage ist toll modernisiert und clever eingerichtet, um den Platz optimal auszunutzen. Im Ort gibt es genügend Bars/Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Strand - alles fußläufig erreichbar.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und für Rückfragen gut erreichbar. Die ganze Abwicklung war durchweg unkompliziert. Loved this beautiful apartment. The decor, cleanliness and location are amazing, The bed is incredibly comfortable. We stayed for 4 days on our way to Valencia. Vilassar de Mar is a 25 min train ride to Barcelona. The ocean is a 3 min walk. The beaches are beautiful. Ellen was so organized and very knowledgeable. Parking was available for the duration a couple of streets up. Would most definitely go back!
