Cute studio at only 10 minutes walking to Plaza Cataluña or to the Ramblas, with great views of Sant Antoni market in the Eixample quarter. The studio is situated on the first floor (principal) of a building without elevator. Since the apartment faces the XIX century market, the open views let the sun get through the balcony window in the morning and a pleasant light during the day.

The apartment is nicely refurbished, with high quality and modern but warm materials like microconcret and wooden floors. It is fully equipped: full kitchen, dining area for two or four, washing machine, dryer, and a modern and comfortable bath-room. All details have been carefully chosen.

Sant Antoni neighborhood is a typical area where you can experience the real Barcelona life with a lot of places to eat “tapas”, to have a good dinner or to drink a wonderful Spanish wine. This is not a tourist area, prices are not crazy, the bakeries offer real bread and the hidden tapas bars are not fashioned or tricky. They have been here always. It's one of our local treasures.

Try to make your own tapas in the small but well-equipped kitchen. There is a temporary market just one block away, while St. Antoni market is being refurbished. There you can get all kind of fresh food or delicatessen items in the shops around the apartment. You'll get an extensive list of amazing places near it.

Furthermore, the location allows you to walk almost everywhere. Reach easily the city center from Plaça Catalunya and visit all the Gaudi's musts. Walk through the Raval and get to the Ramblas and Boqueria market. Walk through the theater district, Paral·lel, to the harbor and the marina promenade. Or walk up Montjuïc for a whole day of awesome museums and gardens.

We enjoyed our week in this apartment across from the Sant Antoni market. It was a great location, with the market, many restaurants, and other conveniences a short walk away. It was a relaxing stay after moving from a busy hotel in Barri Gotic.

Our stay was amazing! The apartment is located right in the middle of so many great restaurants. We didn’t plan on any specific outings before hand so we did end up walking long distances so be prepared if you want to see all the typical sights. But overall, we would definitely recommend!

Anyone who stays at Mar’s will love it. It was just enough room for my husband and I. We enjoyed the Mercado and the cute little coffee shops just outside our door.

Just spent 3 nights at this apartment and it was truly a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. We walked to everything and really enjoyed immersing ourselves in the local atmosphere. Loved watching the locals of all ages go about their daily business - walking their dogs and doing their shopping at the Sant Antoni market. The apartment was very comfortable and clean with everything you could possibly need. Mar was an amazing hostess with great instructions, recommendations, and always willing to help with anything.

The stay was perfect! Management was incredibly communicative, friendly, and helpful with great suggestions for getting situated, getting around, and places to explore. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-outfitted, and is in a great safe area. It's close to the metro, quality eateries, nice local shops, and the impressive Sant Antoni market next door. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Mar’s apartment. It has all the necessities and is in a great location right across from the Sant Antoni market, near the metro. Mar is very detailed and responsive, which made us more comfortable, knowing that Mar was there to address questions or issues at any time. Fabulous location!
What a delight to stay across the street from Sant Antoni Market! The apartment is compact & cozy. There's literally a wonderful coffee shop next door and several doors down, a great bakery. After a month traveling & staying in a variety of places, this was by far the easiest apartment to access, thanks to new technology on smart phones. Mar was incredibly responsive to any questions we had, whether about the apartment or where to eat. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Apartment in a Perfect Location
The apartment is updated and modern, with AC and new appliances. The neighborhood (Sant Antoni) is central to Barcelona-- a good base to explore this wonderful city-- relaxed, with good restaurants and bars, and with a friendly atmosphere. The owner (Mar) is a very special person-- a good communicator in English or Spanish-- helpful, considerate, and attentive.
