Apartment completely renovated this year 2013 with a unique view of the facade of the Sagrada Familia, in quiet environment ideal for families.
This consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, a living room very cozy and with spectacular views of the Sagrada Familia with a double sofa bed very comfortable. A fully equipped kitchen with breakfast area. A bathroom with shower.
The apartment has air conditioning in the living room and in both bedrooms.
In the apartment there is also a computer with internet where you can find out about everything you want to visit in Barcelona.

A great place to stay in Barcelona
My friend and I spent 5 nights in this comfortable apartment very near Sagrada Familia. The beds are great, with plenty of towels and bed linens. The bathroom is a bit small but quite functional. The kitchen is also functional, although I would recommend that a new coffee pot be added - the old one is quite old and I would not drink anything made in it. We loved looking out the window at Sagrada Familia from the table in the living room area, and the proximity to public transportation makes it perfect. I would also recommend that the owners leave a list of recommended restaurants and their locations, as well as some maps and materials pertaining to sites to visit.

Not recommended
We have rented many VRBO’s around the world. Unfortunately this was the worst. The apartment was not as advertised. Apartment has been hard used not newly renovated. The black mold with smell on the bathroom ceiling and inside the shower were unacceptable. As well, the smell of sewer coming out of the sink made the bathroom relatively unusable so we used the coffee shop across the street. We contacted the owner with explanation of concerns but no response. She was however excellent at booking process and entry. We left disappointed.

Thank you Mar for a very nice stay. Mar was very patient as our international flight was delayed. Kept on good communicate with me as we needed to rearrange travel. Laura was waiting patiently for us when we arrived. Comfortable beds and pillows. Great location to many of the sights we wanted to see. Easy check out as well. View of Sagrada Familia was extra special.

Great stay near Sagrada Familia
We were initially reluctant to stay out of the main historic area, but wound up loving this location. Wonderful to see Sagrada Familia every time you step outside, exceptionally quiet, and only a few steps from the Metro, which will take you anywhere. (Well, except for Park Guell.) A nearby pedestrian street lined with cafes, right in line with the Sagrada Familia, so you can see it while you eat. No shower soap or shampoo in the bathroom - bring your own.

Location - great if you plan to visit the Sagrada Familia, Park Guell or use the hop on/off bus. Minutes to restaurants and taxis right outside door. WiFi/Cable TV - fast wifi and there were English channels on the tube. A/C in each bedroom and living room as well, which came in real handy Host was gracious and friendly. Minus 1.5 star for lack of what I consider a couple basics such as salt and pepper or oil or paper towels. Bathroom door knob was broken and fell off repeatedly, closet had a slight musty smell (possibly due to humidity) so we did not hang clothes there, and the walls could use a coat of paint and the shower a deep clean. Address these simple issues and rating goes to 5 stars.

Great location!
Waking up and going to sleep to this magnificent architectural masterpiece was without question, fabulous! The beds were very comfortable, and it was so much nicer than staying at a hotel. There were so many local shops nearby which gave us a glimpse into Spain's culture. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Around the corner was a city tour bus line which was well worth the cost. It stops at all of the best sites in Barcelona. I would advise anyone who is staying here to go on-line and book a visit at the La Sagrada Familia. It is the best way to ensure you will be able to take tour. It is a must see! I would definitely recommend this accommodation for its price, comfort, and location.

The apartment was clean and just as described. We greatly appreciated Mar allowing us to drop off our luggage early so we could go explore the area. Every thing you will need and more is within walking distance. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Location!
We loved Mar's apt in Barcelona. The location is the best and having morning breakfast with Gaudí master piece as background is priceless.You can not go wrong staying at this apt. Metro station is 5 minutes way, restaurants all around, Coffee places .Western-union is down stairs with better rates , so is no need to exchange at airport. Perfect apartment in Barcelona
Our family of four enjoyed our stay in this apartment in Barcelona. The beds were very comfortable, apartment was clean and everything we needed was supplied and just as stated. The view of the sagrada Familia is amazing and it was nice to be able to look out the windows and watch the people of Barcelona walk by. It was close to the metro and you could walk to a lot of the restaurants and shopping nearby. We felt very safe in the area and in the apartment. You can walk to many of the famous sites in Barcelona from this apartment also.

This is a lovely, clean apartment - and everything works. There are airconditioners in the living room and the bedrooms. The view really is as pictured. It's as though the Sagrada Familia is in your front yard. It is lit up at night and looks even better. Mar, the owner, was accommodating with getting early acces to the apartment which we really appreciated. The area is very quiet. The metro system is Barcelona is excellent, cheap, easy to use, fast and frequent. The apartment is only a couple of stops from the centre and only 3 minutes from the metro. For us, the area was a bit too quiet and away from the centre but it would be ideal for a family. If you want to feel the heart beat of the city it is perhaps a little out of it. The apartment was just as described and we would recommend it to travellers looking for a quiet place to stay.

Wonderful location and a great neighbourhood. The view of Sagrada Familia is spectacular.
Our stay at Mar's apartment was fantastic. It's a very comfortable space and was very suitable for our party of three adults. The view across the park to Sagrada Familia is amazing and it was great seeing the nativity facade at different times of day and night. The neighbourhood is easy to navigate, and everything you need is close by- metro, supermarkets, bars, cafes, restaurants, fruit and vegetable shops, pharmacy etc. We walked a lot around the area and caught the metro for longer trips around the city. Can highly recommend this apartment for small groups/couples. There are three keys for entering the apartment- one for main door on street, one to enter the floor to apartment and one for the apartment door. This last one can be a bit tricky to start, but a quarter turn clockwise plus pulling the door towards you will open it easily! We didn't cook at the apartment, but it's very well set up for this with a great stove, large fridge and microwave. Enjoy!

Owner lacks integrity
I had a bad experience with this owner. The TV was not working during the duration of our stay and on our last day she offered a 50 € reimbursement. I agreed that this was reasonable and provided her with my bank account number. She did not send it. I followed up with her many times. She said she would send it last week. I still have not received it. It has been two weeks since we returned from our trip. Overall the location of the place was decent, but it is filled with IKEA furniture and products so everything had a cheap feel. The bottom drawer of the refrigerator was cracked. The window blind in the small room was there for decor only. When I tried to lower it, I discovered it was already broken and couldn't be used. The shower needed a more thorough cleaning and there were black mold spots on the ceiling above the shower. The couch and chair in the main living room were covered with green blankets which was suspicious. I was scared to look underneath. The cushions on the couch were stained so we immediately put them aside so we didn't have to touch them. And like I said, the TV did not work. Based on this owner's lack of integrity and failure to keep her promise, I cannot recommend this place nor would I stay at any of her properties again.

Great location, good value
We had a nice stay in Barcelona. The host was at the apartment to check us in even though it was 2 am when we reached! The location was very convenient. The beds were nice and firm. The apartment was clean and modern and nicely appointed. The kitchen was nicely stocked with tea, coffee, sugar and salt. The only problem is that there was not enough hot water for shower. The water became cold after one or two showers. The third person always had cold water. So we had to plan showers to give time for water to warm up.
