"8 Mums escaping from husbands and kids for a weekend, and we couldnt have stayed in a more perfect home. It's so close to the beach, it was great to be able to go for a sea swim, followed by an outdoor shower and then in to the hot tub. The beds were all comfy, the entire house was clean and the layout so thoughtfully planned. Already considering it for our weekend next year!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rock Pipit Lodge. The accommodation has been really tastefully decorated, has everything you need, and is very comfortable and cosy. The other great features are the art room, utility room and masses of games and puzzles on offer. The grounds are beautiful, too, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. On our first day we had a lovely walk from the top field to Lee Abbey and the bay, and it is a great base for local attractions such as Woody Bay...

We have only two suggestions a) would have been nice to have curtains on the side windows in the bedrooms. Also would be useful if a shower mat could be provided . "The house was perfect for our birthday celebrations for our parents. There were 18 of us but there was still so much room. The house is huge! It was a quick walk down to the seafront and a handy Lidli was close by. We enjoyed the hot tub and the views out to sea. Some of the decor is a little tired but didn’t detract from our stay. It had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend!"

"A great place to stay with lots of space. We were a group of 3 generations and we fitted in perfectly. Easy walk into Ilfracombe, which had plenty to see and do. Lovely walks and pubs. We could easily park on the road, even during half term holidays. Nice drive to many places. A lovely place to stay."

"I absolutly love the lodges. This was our 2nd year of staying at the Mole. My daughter particularly loves the hot tub. There is plenty of space to walk our dog too and an enclosed area where she can go off lead. Although this year there were a few disappointments. We were not left a doggie goodie bag, even though we had paid for our dog to stay. There were no robes in our lodge which are particularly useful when getting out the hot tub, so we struggled with drying towels for showers and hot tub...
