"Had a lovely time in your chateau, thanks very much. The house was really beautiful, loads of space and lots of quirky features like the piano, vintage bicycles and attic rooms. Lady next door selling local cognac was very friendly. At night the sky was so dark, excellent for stargazing. The river charente is lovely for swimming in. Super!"

On the plus side, both the interior and the outdoor areas are spacious, with lots of different places to be. "We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much."

"Such a great house! Will definitely return when the pool is open! As described, very spacious, lots of outside space including pizza oven and bbq. Lots of covered outdoor space for all weathers. Gates close so perfect for dogs. Restaurants/bars/supermarkets only 5 minute drive. So peaceful and quiet and typically French 😊"

"Jason was a great host, very helpful and friendly. The games barn is the best we’ve ever found, really good quality pool table, ping pong, fitness machines etc kept us all entertained.
