"A lovely loft apartment steps from a 12/13th century church, 2 bakeries and a little cafe/bar. Minutes to several small restaurants and a short drive to the beach. Apartment was spacious and clean with nice furniture. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had most of what we needed. The down sides: no towels provided, which is tough if you’re travelling light. Also, no on-site laundry. The kitchen was also low on supplies such as garbage bags & paper towel. We really enjoyed our stay!"

"This was a great little apartment for my husband, I and our daughter. We were able to visit the D-Day sites, including the American Cemetery. Catherine was so very helpful and kind. "Hosts are wonderful. Could not do enough for us. Unfortunately we had difficulty finding the place as the address on the Vrbo web site took us to the wrong end of the long road. Communication was challenging and fortunately the host found us. Really quiet location. Only a short walk to sword beach. Comfortable accommodation. Close to supermarkets and Caen. Unfortunately we forgot to bring our Euro plug converter so if you are from uk make sure you take it. Plenty of plug outlets accommodation....

"The reason we booked this apartment was that they advertised baby cots, which I reserved and emailed separately to confirm. When we were arrived they confirmed a cot was set up in the room for us. However, there was no cot and one could not be found in the building. This was extremely inconvenient as we have a small baby with us."
