Wild Rose Ranch Guest Cabin

Enjoy the quiet peaceful nature of the Baraboo Bluffs and the convenience of being close to WI Dells(15/20 min), Baraboo, ( 3/5 min), Baraboo Bluffs,(back yard), Devils Lake( 5 min), Cascade Mountain(10 min), Devils Head(10 min), Circus World(3 min). Good for couples and families. We do allow your dog for an additional fee. After 6 guests there is an added $20 fee/night/guest. Indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. Wood is provided. Our front view is of the Baraboo River valley and the backyard has views at the very base of The Baraboo Bluffs. Large yard includes firepit , large deck, and lots of open spaces. Two living areas to spread out after being together all day with family and friends. You'll never guess you are on the very edge of Baraboo in this scenic location, very convenient to grocery stores, great selection of restaurants and other services. UTV route access from the house. Wonderful property and fantastic location!
Wonderful property and fantastic location. Our family (seven of us) stayed at the property for three days and two nights while we hiked, swam, and generally enjoyed Devil’s Lake. The house was spacious, clean, and it’s at the perfect location- only a few miles from Devil‘s Lake. Highly recommend their property, and we will most definitely stay there on our next trip.

This property is amazing! It’s clean and spacious. We could’ve spend our entire weekend getaway just sitting on the deck and enjoying the outdoors here. Michelle was so easy to communicate with and even took the time to check up on everybody during a summer storm. So grateful to have found this property for all the family to enjoy. We had a wonderful stay! The host was thoughtful and responsive. The house was clean and well maintained. There was plenty of cabinet space. We had plenty of space to hang-out and spend time together! I loved the collection of board games!

This property was really spacious inside and out. Plenty of hot water for showers! It would have been nice if there had been some outdoor games available and paper products like plastic wrap, etc. for the kitchen. There were some large stains on the carpet in the TV room. Overall, it was a nice property.

Wonderful house and surroundings
We could not have enjoyed our stay more. This house is situated by itself near Wild Rose Ranch, so we had plenty of space for our boys and dog to run and get tired. There is also a nice firepit, deck and BBQ in the backyard, all of which we made use of. The house also has a great family room where we relaxed and unwound at the end of the day. It's proximity to downtown Baraboo and the Dells made for great quick trips to the supermarket and places treat ourselves to a night out for dinner.

The property was just as listed. The host (Michelle) was wonderful and answered my initial (prior to visit) question quickly. We had no issues at all during our stay. This is a lovely property and was just perfect for me, hubby and the pooch. Close to town (restaurants, bars, hiking, national parks, the river walk), beautiful and quiet surroundings and the layout was well designed and suited our needs just perfect, everything was as comfortable as it could, and should, have been. Very Pleased! Next time we are in Baraboo we will inquire about the availability for this property!

Location and property were perfect for bachelor party but kitchen pots and pans were found dirty in cabinet. The good definitely way outweighed the bad and I would recommend.

Excellent for a family with small kids
Just to add a few points to other reviews. The property is spacious and well lit with a few strategically placed skylights in the kitchen and both bathrooms. Plenty of room for kids to run around and play with a one floor layout and no stairs to worry about. In the same, the outdoor area abutting the porch is flat, grassy and, excepting the fire pit, lacking any obstacles that could pose a hazard to the young ones. Owners were very responsive and unobtrusive. Highly recommended!

Comfortable, clean and good owner communication
This was my second stay at this property. Any concerns or needs have always been quickly addressed by Michelle, the owner. Both of my stays have found the house in good condition. I would say the beds are not the most comfortable sleeping. However, I am used to a firm mattress and these, in my opinion were not. This wouldn't stop me from staying here in the future.
