This home built in 1905 got a complete makeover in 2017. It has been updated into this attractive, captivating and beautiful home. It is in located in the heart of downtown Village of Bar Harbor and on a quiet side street.
The home was thoughtfully planned and furnished with super comfortable mattresses. The hard wood floors have been beautifully restored. It has a covered front porch, balcony and plenty of space for the vacationing family. In a tenth of a mile from this home you will find plenty of restaurants, shopping, whale watching excursion, puffin excursion, kayaking trips, three-masted schooner excursion to just name a few. Your cars can remain at the property while you take the free Island explorer shuttle to access the rest of the island. Access to the a few entrances to Acadia National park are about couple miles from this home.

FIRST FLOOR: Entryway leads to a Living Room with new furnishings and flat-screen TV with cable premium channels. It has plenty of seating and lighting. Master bedroom with King bed, flat screen TV (with cable premium channels) with its own private full bathroom. Brand new kitchen with all new steel appliances. Dining Room with table set up for six with one leaf to increase seating for up to eight people. Half Bath in hallway. Washer and Dryer.

SECOND FLOOR: Bedroom one with King bed. Bedroom two with Queen bed. Bedroom three with Queen bed, Bedroom four with a Queen sleeper sofa with flat screen TV (for gaming, netflix etc). Two full bathrooms.

OUTDOOR: Front covered Porch with wood table and chairs. Propane Grill in the back off the kitchen. Balcony of the second floor bedroom. Parking for 4 cars.

This property is beautiful, spacious, clean, and well stocked. The location is great for walking to restaurants, shops, and the grocery store. A perfect location for visiting Acadia National Park. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing house in a fabulous location
We had a wonderful time at this beautiful and clean home that was a short walk to everything in Bar Harbor. This was one of our favorite vacations and this home is ideal for everything you could want to do in the area. It is steps from the walk to Bar Island, the shore path and fabulous restaurants in Bar Harbor. We really enjoyed our stay!

The property is everything that is said in reviews and more. So much nicer than pictures and a perfect location. We were able to walk to get dinner every night. If we are ever back in Bar Harbor we will definitely be staying in this house.

This property is close to everything, shops, restaurants, ocean, and hiking. What you can't walk to, you can take a trolley to. It was a fantastic vacation, one I would do again.

Location was perfect—5 minute walk into Bar Harbor & 10-15 minute drive into Acadia. The house was very spacious & clean and had everything we needed to live there for a week while we explored, hiked, & biked. The neighborhood is very quiet and there was plenty of parking. 5 STARS and would highly recommend!!

Wonderful Stay - Beautiful Area
Beautiful, comfortable home with all the conveniences needed. We were happy to see a lobster pot so we could steam fresh lobster. The location is ideal; 2-3 blocks from the harbor, shopping, restaurants and grocery store. No need to move your car. The Bar Harbor area is fantastic. We hiked in Acadia Park daily. Veena, the house host, is a friendly, attentive host. An area and house to revisit!

Great location
Traveled with my husband & 2 adult children. The house was perfectly located within walking distance of restaurants, grocery & shopping. Was only a short drive to Acadia for many amazing hikes. Bike rentals were also walking distance & we were able to ride from the house to the Carriage Roads. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable with ample pillows & blankets. Also had plenty of towels. We had plenty of room to rest but then come together again for family time. Would definitely stay again!

Great place!
The house was not only very accommodating (very clean, good beds, etc) but the location of the house was absolutely perfect! The grocery store was a block away one way and the main town of Bar Harbor was a block away the other way. We never used our car in the town. The location of the house allowed us the ability to walk everywhere. It was great!! Would definitely stay here again.

This property exceeded expectations- it is quite large and was very comfortable for our adult family group of 9. Parking is everything and the 4 spaces were perfect as the Island Explorer wasn’t yet running. It was a quick walk to town for pie, ice cream, shopping, and the brewery. We love Bar Harbor. Veema was instantly available when needed. I would suggest an upgrade to the coffee making situation as one older Mr. Coffee wasn’t enough for our group especially the early risers who wanted to hit the trails early.

Bar Harbor fall vacation
My familly and I stayed in Bar Harbor Oct 14-28. The house was exactly as pictured and described. When we arrived the house was immaculate. Very clean and well appointed. Simple things matter: soft toilet paper, kleenex in every room, plush towels, comfortable beds and the whole place smelled so good. The kitchen was our main gathering place and it was surprisingly well stocked. Our intent was to cook many meals in and nearly everything we needed was there. Spices, oils, plastic wrap, pancake mix, flour, brown sugar etc. There were plenty of dishes and pans to cook with. The coffee maker was especially handy as it was able to do a large pot of coffee or use individual pods. It was a Ninja brand. The location of the house was absolutely perfect!. It was close to everything. We walked everywhere. We walked to little shops, to restaurants (our favorites were, Side Street Cafe, Thirsty Whale and Jordon's). The grocery store is only a block away and little ice cream shops and coffee shops are close too. We drove to Acadia for our fabuous hikes and it was only 10 - 15 minutes away. So nice to come home in the evening and not have to worry about parking. The water was nice and hot for showers after a long and tiring day of hiking. And it was so quiet in the evenings for a good night's sleep. We loved everything about this house. It was the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. Book it quick because it will make your vacation to Acadia/Bar Harbor area the best ever!

Wonderful accommodations in the perfect location
We just returned from a wonderful week at this property in Bar Harbor. The location, as others have mentioned, was perfect. Restaurants and shopping are just a short walk away and there was a grocery store right around the corner as well. There are so many positives about the house. I’ll note a few here, in no particular order. To start with we were very pleased with the ample parking at the house. We had three cars in our group and found that there was plenty of room for parking. You’ll appreciate this when you start exploring Bar Harbor itself. If you stayed outside of town and had to drive in to visit downtown, I’d expect you would be quite frustrated trying to find a place to park. We were quite thankful that we didn’t need to even think about that, being in walking distance to everything you could possibly want to do in Bar Harbor. We cooked several meals at the home, and the kitchen had everything that you could possibly want or need to enjoy meals at the house. Like in many homes, the kitchen/dining area became a place that we would gather together quite often. The large table in the kitchen/dining area was plenty big enough to accommodate our group for meals and for game nights as well. In the living room there was plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to enjoy hanging out and chatting or watching a movie together. The house itself is quite spacious, and it was really nice that everyone had a pleasant bedroom for plenty of private space at the end of the day. The downstairs master suite with a king bed had a private bath, and there was also a nice half bath downstairs as well. Upstairs there were two full bathrooms on opposite ends of the hallway, along with one king bed and queen bed at one end of the hallway and a queen room and futon/sitting room at the other end. Those of us that got up earlier than the others were able to enjoy our coffee on the large front porch each day without waking up the rest of the house. Our group did a lot of hiking and exploring in Acadia National Park and the surrounding area during the day and found that we could easily get to the park in about 10 to 15 minutes (depending on what area you were traveling to). I honestly can’t think of any other accommodation that would have been better for us and believe that it is a great value for the area. Having these comfortable accommodations, in the ideal location, added to the overall positive experience of our travel, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this

Location, location, location!
This house is exactly as shown and described. Very clean and well maintained. Very stocked kitchen if you want to cook at home. Many bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy with adult groups. We had five adults so this was perfect. The location is incredible. So close to town, you can walk to restaurants, bakeries, even the grocery store in just a few minutes. Very close to the Bar Island walk as well. Yet even though you are so close to town, you are just far enough away to be on a quiet street. Lots of onsite parking as well. Acadia Park is also close. I highly recommend this property. Communications with property manager was quick and easy as well.

This property was perfect for us (in our 70s) and our daughter and family (2 year old son). This house is spacious, clean, updated enough to have the amenities you need, exceptionally well stocked. There were even puzzles and a t ball set that the 2 year old could enjoy. Communication with Veena was excellent. Highly recommend this property.

Acadia Vacation
We had a wonderful time in Bar Harbor and the house worked perfectly for our families needs. The 4 bedrooms worked great for 4 couples. No one needed to sleep in a double or a twin room. Everyone said their beds were comfortable and that is super important. Walking distance to everything Bar Harbor has to offer and even the Grocery Store. Had two e-bikes and two regular bikes. The e-bikes got tons of use but the carriage trails are hilly so after the 1st day people didn’t use the regular bikes.Super easy to walk to the Village Green and take the Island explorer into the park!

Wonderful family vacation
This was my second stay at this beautiful and well stocked home. It is so convenient to so many shops & restaurants as well as Acadia National Park. We loved walking by the bay and took a couple of nature excursions. Highly recommend this property
