Great Location
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and looking forward to staying here whenever we’re back in Bar Harbor! The house is a great location - it’s has great privacy while being just a few minutes to Bar Harbor for shopping and restaurants and to Acadia for sight seeing and hiking trails. The house was well stocked with ample sets of towels, shampoo conditioner and wash, kitchen supplies, and board games / entertainment. Was spacious enough for 5 adults and clean.

Great location, lots of potential, needs better cleaning, and updates.
Stove was greasy, pink mold inside the 5 dehumidifiers, grass needed mowed, 100s of dead ants in game room/garage that could easily be swept up, cobwebs in windows. Emptying 5 dehumidifiers that filled up in less than 24 hours got old quick! Not really what I thought I was paying for. This house is in great location and has a lot of potential but needs a good clean, some updates, and some kind of solution to the mugginess on the lower floor that doesn’t require vacationers to empty 5 dehumidifiers at least once daily.

Surrounded by the Park!
Really nice house and kitchen. Andy the location is great. You can quickly go to Bar Harbor, or you can avoid it altogether if you want. Easy access to trails, the Loop Road, Cadillac Mountain, etc. We got a reservation and then drove to the summit of Cadillac Mountain in significantly less than an hour. As a bonus, my youngest son (19) and I saw a young Buck as we were loading the car to leave. We just stared at the Buck for about a minute as a guess. Then it turned and left, its' hooves completely silent as it seemed to float away.

Weekend Getaway!
Good big property for a family vacation! Peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Good price for the area. Be aware, there is only 4 private bedrooms, 2 are in the basement and you need to run dehumidifiers and empty constantly.

Disappointing Stay
Six moms stayed here for a fall getaway. On a positive note, the house was in a convenient area in between downtown and Acadia National Park. The cleaning staff also did a good job. The property manager allowed us a more flexible check out time, which was appreciated. However, this was probably our least favorite vacation rental out of several trips. The bathrooms were small and outdated. One of them only has a tiny shower with a flimsy curtain and the other has mildew stains around the tub. The bedroom with the bunk beds has black stains in the carpet near the door. Several bedrooms did not have a closet. The living space is very small. The fire place is blocked off, but still has a raised stone area that juts out - watch your toes. The TV volume seemed to be fading out; hard to hear conversations when watching a movie. This property could benefit from fixing the fireplace or adding a fire pit or hot tub. We would not stay here again unless it is updated.

Good location, lots of space, but very worn, smelled
We chose the property because of the location along with the amount of indoor and outdoor space. The location was great, along with the amount of bedrooms and outdoor space. The property is much more worn than appears in photos. All carpets appear stained, the shower curtains were orange with mildew, walls dinged and scuffed. When we arrived the house stunk- a mildew smell particularly on the lower level where 3 of us were sleeping. I notified the manager and they did send someone about 24 hours later who emptied 3 dehumidifiers that helped with the issue. The question is how long was that water sitting there? The house had clearly been cleaned prior to our arrival, beds made, clean towels. We ran the dehumidifiers constantly during our stay and they needed to be emptied continuously. It always smelled but never as bad as when we arrived.

Family gathering
Almost a perfect fit- masterbedroom for us, private bedroom for newly weds, "apartment" for couple & 2 children, loft for teenager, small bunk room for a single. Incredibly furnished kitchen. Could have used another fan. Tv reception-barely. Driveway hard to locate.

Great Acadia Spot
The house was clean and had everything you needed. It was a nice layout and slept everyone comfortably. The only issue was that the house was extremely hot when we were there. There is no air conditioning so it was a bit muggy in the house. Other than that, it was a great location right near the park and right near some popular trails. Would recommend, just not in a heat wave.

Awesome Location
This property is located very near an entrance to Acadia National Park. We were able to easily access the park loop road, and get right to attractions like Cadillac Mountain, Thunder hole, and Sand Beach. The deck is great, comes equipped with a grill, and could easily accommodate a large group.

Perfect house for a big group of friends
Stayed here with 9 friends and each person got their own bed- easily could have fit up to 12. Perfect location on mount desert island within about 15 mins drive to most trail heads and bar harbor! Would stay here again.

Probably just bad luck. Things happen.
Trash related issues. Previous guest trash filled all the available barrels. Trash bags were not available and we had nowhere to put trash etc. and then the animals overturned the barrels of previous guests which led to a daily clean up in the driveway by our group. Also, many missing light bulbs and sparse supplies. My guess is simply very busy house and there simply was not time to replenish the house for our group. It was also very very hot inside at night.

Close proximity to Bar Harbor. Little hard to find, not well marked.
Had problem with water overflowing in humidifier in lower level. Had problem with for that wouldn't allow people out of bedroom. Not very clean to start out. Needs we're clean. But floor was not refunded my cleaningand tables and counters were dirty. Shower in basement not clean. They was no propane until the second day and Verizon phones do not work there. Other wise they tried to get all of our complaint taken care of and after which we had a fabulous time in a out of the space. Thanks. I truly believe all things will be addressed. Watch out for the driveway though. Very easy to bottom out your car.

Acadia trip
Good location and easy quick drive to get in to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor downtown but property interior is quite worn and garbage bags under front stairs had noxious smell that precluded opening windows (no AC in house) in bedroom due to smell permeating the house.

clean & comfortable
The house was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. The pots and pans were a better quality than we usually find in vacation rentals. Couch and chairs were comfortable, plenty of seating for everyone when it was time to eat. We never ran out of hot water and there were 8 of us there. The only down sides were the house was set back so it was kinda hard to find, It would be nice if there was some kind of distinguishing object out front. And the drive way needs some work. We would stay again!

Great Place in an excellent location.
This place has the best value for money given its location! We had a wonderful stay. However, 2 bathrooms for a 11 people was the only shortcoming could think of about this place but other than that we had a great time!
