This two floor one bedroom appartment has everything you will need for your MDI stay. Conveniently located the rental is 7 miles from the town of Bar Harbor, 5 miles from Acadia National Park and 0.2 miles from Hadley Point Beach.
Our one bedroom one bath appartment has a full kitchen and living room area on the first floor. The second floor has another sitting area, a king size bed and full bathroom. The couch on the first floor is a full size pull out if needed.
Our appartment is located in a quiet wooded neighborhood perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. In the evening walk down to Hadley Point Beach for fantastic sunsets. Bring along chairs and have a campfire down at the beach!

Really nice property with great host. Residential location off main highway near the national park and bar harbor. We basically only slept there and the bed and linens were comfortable.

Perfect getaway
We had such a wonderful stay. The property was lovely and exactly as pictured/described, super clean, a great location, and a short walk to a beach for the most beautiful sunsets. The host is outstanding—kind, helpful, and great with communication. The area is quite beautiful, even in the off season. We cannot recommend this property enough! If/when we return one day to Maine, this would be our first choice of where to stay.

Quiet place in a great location
We enjoyed our stay here. It is walking distance to a nice beach area, with beautiful sunsets. The apartment is part of a larger home, with its own entrance, etc. It is in great condition and well maintained. We saw the owner, Dave, on our arrival, and he was available if we needed him, the rest of the week. We actually had no issues, so we didn't see him again. The house is in a beautiful wooded setting, with very few neighbors, so it is extremely quiet and has nice views of the surrounding trees, etc. There is a campground across the road, but we never heard any noise from it. All in all, we would definitely stay with them again!

We loved our stay in Bar Harbor! The property is lovely, well maintained. It is quiet and peaceful, close to the downtown, but far enough away to feel in another country. Dave was a great host - always available and very helpful. Beautiful trees and an amazing sunset opportunity down the road over the water.

Perfect Choice for Adventure to Acadia
This apartment was the perfect choice for us! We were close enough to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor to enjoy all the fun activities nearby, but enjoyed the peace and quiet of this location after a busy day in the park. An added bonus is that this is only minutes away from an Island Explorer free bus shuttle which we took advantage of several times during our 6-night stay. Dave & Anna were very gracious and helped make our stay even more enjoyable.

Great spot to relax
We had a lovely stay at the apartment. We enjoyed the kitchen and the two floors to spread out and relax. The apartment had lots of light and amenities. The chickens were a fun bunch. We would recommend to others.

Very nice living space
The rooms were spacious and clean. Tastefully decorated, comfortable and very quiet. Well equipped kitchen, eating and sitting area downstairs and an equally comfortable bed, sitting area and bathroom upstairs. We soon felt very much at home and it was a great place to come back to after a day of exploring. Host was friendly and answered any requests right away. Highlights: strong wifi and nice hot water !

Tranquil getaway
My husband and I stayed at this property for a week. The pictures are accurate of the rental. We appreciated the location, close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Dave and Anna were gracious hosts. They responded quickly to any questions we had and made it a priority that we were comfortable and happy. One of our highlights was having a campfire on Hadley Point Beach. We definitely would rent from them again!!

Perfect location
Our host was in contact with us prior to our arrival with information about time of arrival, entrance codes, parking, and local grocery stores. Upon our arrival , David came over to meet us and answer any questions . The house was just as presented online with comfortable accommodations, well-stocked kitchen and information about local attractions . During our stay, David and his wife were available without being intrusive.

Great Place to Stay when in Acadia
The property was just as listed. It was in a great location on a very quiet street. There was no road noise. It is about 25 minutes from Bar Harbor, so getting to a restaurant will take a little time. The property was very clean. The king bed was very comfortable and is on the second floor along with the bathroom. The owner was very easy to text and was quick to respond to any of my questions.

Gracious hosts and relaxing stay!
David and Anna are very gracious hosts and have created a peaceful place to unwind after full days of adventure. Many thanks to them for the kindness shown to us during our stay. Great suggestions for restaurants and activities. We enjoyed getting to know them! The apartment was perfect for the two of us. Less than 15 minutes to Bar Harbor and very easy access to Acadia and the quiet side of the island. We enjoyed the layout of the apartment especially the comfy sitting area upstairs. Private with plenty of room, very well equipped. We would love to visit again and highly recommend this property.

Fantastic stay
I stayed here for 7 weeks as I was working on Mt. Desert Island and I felt so lucky to have found this place. David and Anna are fantastic hosts, absolutely above and beyond in making me feel welcome and at home. They stay in the attached house; the apartment is very much your own space. The apartment is extremely comfortable, quiet, located in the woods with a beautiful garden out back, and it's a short walk down the hill to Hadley Point Beach, where I went almost daily for walks, swims or sunsets. Staying here was a great nature experience, while being very comfortable. It's also an easy drive into Bar Harbor or to hikes or other things around the island. I loved the place and the location, and felt so welcomed by David and Anna. I definitely plan to stay again!

Truly Excellent
This was one of the best extended accommodation stays we have had anywhere in the world. It was genuinely flawless. The accommodation is two floors separated from the (charming) owners' home by the laundry room. But it looks out into the garden and beyond to the woods giving the sense that you are enjoying a secluded woodland stay. We were greeted by three deer in the garden on our arrival and saw a mother and fawn on the eve of our departure. On arrival Dave gives a comprehensive welcome and throughout our stay he and Annie responded immediately to any requests we had, and indeed discreetly checked if we needed anything more. The split level accommodation gives two living spaces if one needs to work. The kitchen is well- equipped and the washer and dryer are big and effective. The shower and TV both function just as you would wish. The heating/air conditioning was very effective. The front door operates on an easy electronic keypad so there is no need to worry about remembering keys. The bed is one of the most comfortable super-kings we have experienced - and we have literally been in tousands worldwide! From the accommodation you can walk down to the beach in five minutes - we witnessed wonderful sunsets and beautiful starlit nights there. It is a ten minute drive to Acadia National Park and fifteen to Bar Harbor with all that has to offer (we recommend the Thirsty Whale). If you really need a Walmart there is one twenty minutes away in Ellsworth. Six stars!! We'll be back!

Perfect for our week vacation
We could not of had a more perfect place to stay for our week at Acadia. Convenient location, accommodations were as nice as advertised, very clean, everything worked great. A very quiet street and the beach had beautiful sunsets and great star viewing. We made breakfast every morning and bag lunches before setting out for a day of adventures. The hosts, Dave and Anna are very friendly and do a great job

Great Acadia Location
Quiet and comfortable apartment for a couple, conveniently located just a few minutes from the main Acadia Visitors Center. Kitchen is well equipped for preparing meals when you aren’t dining in Bar Harbor. We stayed a full week which was long enough to hit the Acadia highlights. Host was very responsive and helpful. We’ll book this VRBO again if we return to Acadia.

5 night stay for husband and I to explore Acadia NP/Bar Harbor. Accommodations were clean, comfortable, and included all we needed. Lovely garden like setting with close access to Island Explorer bus stop and Hadley Beach a short stroll away. Wonderful star gazing on the outdoor patio at night. Host friendly/easily accessible/knowledgeable about area. Would definitely come back for repeat stay.

Couldn't Have Asked for More
Super cozy and great quiet location to serve as our base for a week as we explored Acadia and the Bar Harbor area. Dave & Anna were very gracious, friendly, and helpful. The apartment was just like home and we were sorry we had to leave. Highly recommended! This was our first time vrbo-ing somewhere that we didn't personally know the owners, but any fears we may have had were certainly unwarranted.
