Slopeside is one of the closest vacation rentals to Beech Mountain Resort and the Ski Village.

Walk to the Village in about a minute for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, dining, coffee, entertainment and even the Beech Mountain Brewing Company!

In the summer, enjoy mountain biking, hiking and unbelievable mountain disc golf. Take a quick hike or chair lift to 5506' Sky Bar for Mile High Yoga or lunch and a beer at the top of the mountain. When the Land of Oz is open, the shuttle will take you right to the entrance of Oz, too!

When you aren't enjoying the Village and Mountain, relax in our updated mountain home. Panoramic windows throughout provide a 180-degree long-range view of the mountains for as far as the eye can see.

Enjoy the propane fireplace in the living room while you watch the game on a 65" HDTV. Because it's a smart television, you can also log in to your Netflix, Amazon Prime or Hulu accounts and enjoy the same content that you do at home.

Send the kids to the loft where they will find a 50" smart television in addition to an XBOX 360 and dozens of games... or follow them up and challenge them to a game of foosball on our full-size table. The sectional sofa in the loft converts to a queen bed. There is also a dedicated bathroom as well as a kids bunkroom (four single beds) on the second floor.

On the main floor, you will find two master bedrooms with baths, kitchen, dining room, mud room with racks for your ski gear and the living room, with a 65" television and even more beautiful views of the mountains.

Watch deer and other wildlife as they work their way down the mountain each evening from the giant outdoor deck.

Most importantly, enjoy the most unbelievable, breathtaking mountain views and both sunrises and sunsets from the giant windows in the cozy living room and spacious dining room.

The kitchen is fully-modern and well-apointed with everything you need to make gourmet meals during your mountain retreat. You will even find a Nespresso machine with a sleeve of a dozen espresso capsules waiting for you on arrival.

Really nice to be walking distance to the slopes on a busy weekend. Great for kids who need to be shuffled back and forth for snacks, naps, etc. Would definitely stay again.

We were impressed with the property, the layout is one of the most efficient and suitable that we’ve seen. Location would be great for skiing. Everything was clean and there were ample supplies of towels, bedding and dishes, etc. We would stay again!

Gorgeous and cozy cabin with amazing mountain views
I arrived at the cabin late in the evening and had no issues finding it. I had a few days/nights on my own and felt completely safe. The coziness of the cabin made it feel just like home. When my family and hubby arrived they were super happy with the cabin and views of mountains. We had an easy walk to the Ski Loft for Land of Oz on Saturday. Sitting on the deck resting our tired feet was so relaxing with the cool night temps. The fireplace inside was super easy to use and kept the house nice and toasty. Matt was wry responsive when I reached out. The cabin guide with instructions was very helpful and the suggested restaurants were awesome! We will be back to do some skiing and to just have a relaxing weekend very soon.

Amazing weekend get away at Beech!
Great stay with family, kids of all ages. Something for everyone and steps to the slopes made the typical drudgery of lugging gear a snap. House was immaculate, instructions for use of household items and fireplace very clear. Great location and close to both slopes and downtown. The view was absolutely amazing. Would recommend for families and friends/couples, great for kids. We hope to come again soon!

Fall weekend
Slopeside was a perfect weekend getaway! The views were spectacular. We spent the majority of the weekend eating and watching movies. It turned out to be a windy weekend a little too much for my mom. She was happy just sitting in the living room admiring the view. Matt was only a text away if we needed anything. We are looking forward to staying at Slopeside again.

Cozy Beech Mountain getaway with incredible views
Quick weekend getaway for leaf peeping in October 2016. Exceeded our expectations in every way! Great location, comfortable home, warm fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, deck with amazing view, deer all around in the mornings and evenings, walking distance to Ski Village, driving distance to Sugar Mtn, Blowing Rock, Boone, etc. We will be going back! Thanks Matt for helping make this a perfect weekend.

Mile High View
Awesome house that offered plenty of room for 6 adults and 1 eleven year old. Big windows in the den with 20-30 mile views. Going to the slopes and the village was a short walk down the steps. So after an initial trip to the grocery store, we didn’t start our vehicles again until checkout time. Our stay was further enhanced by 2 days of snow flurries making it a true winter wonderland! Hope to return in the future.

Lovely ski in/ski out
This home was the perfect place for our 2 families. It was exactly as advertised and then some! A lovely surprise was the motion sensor lighted pathway that led to the slopes. There was plenty of space for the children to hang out upstairs and play foosball or video games while the adults chilled out downstairs. The home is super close to the ski lodge and bunny slope. We will definitely be back to slopeside!

Clean, spacious, perfect location to the mountain!
This was a beautiful chalet. First time in Beech Mountain. Not a whole lot to do because of the 2 days we chose to visit. BUT, this was a perfect place to stay. The owners are very responsive and very easy to work with. Would highly recommend staying here. We have two children (12 and 14) who enjoyed their own space, but, loved the XBox and challenging each other to car racing. The fusbol table was a nice plus!! They have everything you need. They took care in providing nice things, ie: bed linens, silverware, glasses, mugs, etc. Not just left overs from their home...purchased specifically for this home. Would highly recommend!!!

A great home in an awesome location
We stayed at Slopeside for 3 nights in February, 2016. Our party was originally going to be 6 adults and 4 children, but ended up being 4 adults and 4 children which was perfect for Slopeside. Two queen bedrooms downstairs for the adults and 4 kids had bunk beds in the loft. Beds were very nice and comfortable. Kids loved having their own space and having an xbox was a bonus. The house is well equipped and very clean. Nice TV in living room. Having a mud room was perfect for all of our winter clothes and ski gear. Really liked having extra bath towels and a heater in the bathroom! Kitchen well stocked, but missed having a scrubbie for doing the dishes. The balcony and view are extraordinary! We walked down the stairs and were at Beech Mountain. It was so nice being able to return to our house to take a break from skiing and then return later in the day. It was great not having to 'check-in', having a code for the front door was so easy! And, the instructions for the fireplace, trash, etc were very clear and nice to have. Owners were great to work with and very responsive to questions. We would DEFINITELY stay at Slopeside again. Thank you Matt & Lori!

Perfect Location!
We had (2) families, each with (2) adults and (2) children aged 7-11. Such a great location with beautiful views. Once we parked our cars, we never moved them and just walked to all the things to do at Beech mountain.
