Hidden Falls Cabin is a cozy 2BR/2BA cabin on Beech Mountain overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Located just 7 minutes from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, access to favorite winter activities like skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and ice skating are all a short drive away. Enjoy award-winning mountain bike trails, hiking, disc golf, and scenic lift rides the whole family can enjoy in the summer months. Buckeye Park is 10 minutes away, with fishing, basketball and tennis courts, a playground, and a hike to a beautiful waterfall. The town of Banner Elk is a 20-minute drive and gives guests access to attractions like Banner Elk Winery and Vineyard, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Sugar Creek gem mining, and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort.

This peaceful getaway nestled in the woods boasts a rustic, open-concept floor plan. The kitchen has granite countertops and seating for six at the dining table. The living area has cozy seating surrounding the wood-burning fireplace, a large HDTV, and a telescope to explore the night sky. There is a mini-split unit in the living room for heating and air conditioning. Outside on the covered porch is a 4-person hot tub overlooking the sweeping mountains, along with a porch swing and seating.

The master king bedroom is on the upper level and has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. On the main level is a second bedroom with a queen bed, a TV, and a private bathroom with a combo tub and shower.

This home is not pet-friendly. There is parking for three (3) vehicles. Access to this home is flat, with one small step down to enter the house.

Delightful!
This was a great cabin for our family. We saw a black bear, raccoon, and many deer out of the kitchen window. A suggestion would be to update the pictures and virtual tour to show that there are only two beds at the cabin. We were easily able to get to Boone, Blowing Rock, and Linville Falls.

Wonderful Cozy Cabin
Great cabin for couples or small families. 10 min to Beech Mountain Ski Resort. During the winter months you will absolutely need 4x4 for the mountain and driveway. Lots of fun in the hot tub and on the slopes.

Cozy cabin close to Beech resort
Our family had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. Home was comfortable and hot tub was fantastic. Kids had a blast. Very close proximity to beech ski resort. You do have to go up/down the mtn to get to Banner Elk or Boone so make sure your car can make it!

Exceeded Expectations
This is the place to stay if you’re visiting NC. It has an amazing view and is located in drivable distance to every place that’s worth going to. (Beech Mnt, sugar mnt, banner elk, grandfathers mountain, Hawksnest) Groceries is 15 min away whether it’s food lion or Lowe’s. My kids loved every bit of this trip and that’s what makes me happiest, however, this cabin really made it special. We even had snow all day which completely changed the scenery around us. I highly recommend this cabin, you and your family won’t regret it.

The drive way needs to be fixed. Very bumpy. Needs to be leveled out. Other than that the house was great.

Quiet, peaceful spot to relax
Was a good place for us to relax and cool off. Coming from the deep South, we enjoyed a 20+ degree drop in temps at this elevation. Cabin was on a quiet dead end road, so great for walking dogs. Also, no extreme drop-offs, so good for pets and small kids. My only real issue was the lack of storage in the main-level bedroom. We were coming for more than a weekend, so we had nowhere to put clothes. Ended up hanging them in the bathroom. Also, the directions to the property were given from a Wendy’s in Boone. Since we were coming from the southwest, it would have added at least 90 min to go through Boone. I requested different instructions, but got no help. Thankfully, Google Maps got us there. Some other GPS services stopped working along the way.

Clean cabin way up the mountain
The cabin was just as advertised. There were a few bumps. No fireplace logs as shown in photos, some light bulbs out, back porch roof was leaking, master bedroom bed was way too soft, and driveway was rutted and needed repairs. However, the hot tub was wonderful and deer were everywhere! There was a power failure during our stay which was no one’s fault. The WiFi got fried and they came and replaced it during our stay.

Great place
The property was gorgeous. We love the woodwork inside, being off the beaten path, having a place to bring the dogs, the hot tub, and it was less than 10 minutes to Beech Mountain for skiing. Everything we needed. We had some trouble getting in- the code wasn’t working properly when we arrived, but I called Carolina Cabin rentals and sent an email and within 5 minutes we were inside. The beds were a bit hard for our taste- but I’m sure enjoyable to some. The address listed on the site is absolutely correct- but GPS pulls it up as a Court vs. Lane…just a heads up. Overall, very pleased with the property.

Property was ok just no that clean. Hot tub had a bad smell so we didn't bother getting in it. No drawer or closet space to unpack. Cabin wasn't awful it just needed a little tlc.

we enjoyed our stay at the cabin. we were looking for some peace and quiet. We definitely found it here. The hot tub was awesome! The cabin was clean and met all of our needs. The entrance to the driveway was a little rough. Drainage might need some maintenance. Other than that, everything was fine!

Beautifully Kept
The property we stayed at was worth every penny. Walked into a house smelling fresh and clean. What care by the owners, who respond quickly with simple questions we had, and the reservation team. The Housekeeping Service, Willie, Tonga and Victoria should get so much praise with all the care they put into each room. We will be planning on staying there again. I hope they all realize how valuable they are with what they do.
