We had a fantastic time and enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cabin in the Woods. The location was great for getting to the slopes. The cabin was in great condition and provided all the amenities we needed for the weekend. We will definitely keep this cabin in mind for other mountain adventures in the future!
The property was everything and more it advertised. It was very clean and cozy
This grandmother and her young adult grandsons enjoyed it immensely. We had access to so many things to do. We made some wonderful memories.
We loved our stay at this property. It's remote enough to feel like a getaway from the world, but not too far to get into many of our favorite mountain towns around Banner Elk and Boone. It was so cozy, and had everything we needed! We enjoyed seeing deer around as well.
The property was perfect for our trip. The cabin was clean and had all the amenties that we needed. If you are looking for a place that you can sit on the porch and watch deer THIS IS IT!!
This was a great experience from start to finish. The cabin was perfect for our needs and is 6 minutes from Beech Mountain Resort where we snowboarded on Saturday. This cabin is well stocked with everything you might need in kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc. Lisa was a great host and we highly recommend this listing and the host. Thanks Lisa!
We had an awesome time at the Cozy Cabin. Communication with the host was extremely quick and easy. The cabin itself was just as pictured. It was a very nice, peaceful getaway. Just what we needed! The deer visitors every day were a great bonus too :)
The location of property was very good on Beech Mountain but near to Boone and Grandfather Mountain so could very easily visit the local sites. We enjoyed the firepit one evening as the weather is much cooler in the Summer than SC. The cabin had all the essentials we needed. We had one little snafu but the owner was easy to reach and fixed it right away. We really enjoyed the Emerald Trails, visited the shops in downtown Boone and on our last day the mile-high bridge at Grandfather Mountain.
Highly recommend this cabin if you are going to Grandfather Mountain, Boone, NC, The Blue Ridge Parkway, or if you want an opportunity to see the natural beauty of North Carolina.
The kitchen was fully stocked, the furniture was nice and comfy. Absolutely, loved the tile in the entrance and bathroom. We did not use the upstairs room as there was only 2 in our party and two bedrooms downstairs was plenty good for us. The owner was very good with her communication. I would love to stay at this cabin again and plan to when I return to the beautiful state of North Carolina. Thank you for helping to make our trip successful.
By chance did you find a leather duster hat I think I left it behind

Nice little cabin
Overall this wasn't a bad place to stay however the first night we went to check on the gas for the grill and when I tried to use the app it would not let me send a message so I tried calling the owner however no answer and voicemail was full. The next morning as we were outside enjoying the deer that frequent the neighborhood we noticed that the sewer clean out had been run over and broken raw sewage was flowing out into the yard. again no way to let the owner know. Hopefully these will be fixed and the next guest's can enjoy the place
I just had the best stay at the cabin ever and I can’t get over how cool it was.
I wanted to say something positive because it does still exist that there are wonderful attentive hosts like Lisa!
The pictures match the description, the price for cleaning is included in the per night rate, and the taxes and fees are comparable. The house was absolutely spotless and worth every dime.
The cabin is in the middle of the mountains, sourounded by the beauty of Beech Mountain. The wildlife is abundant, fishing lakes all around stocked with trout, simultaneous being 6 minutes away from the nearest restaurants, groceries and entertainment.
Lisa (host) was attentive to my needs and was able to address any concerns I had during my stay.
l loved this place so much I extended my one week stay to four weeks. The cabin was so private and wonderful, I just can’t believe it.
Anytime in the future I will be checking the calendar to see when I can book this quaint cabin again.
For the hosts out there who are creating experiences like Lisa has thank you!
For the travelers who are searching and wishing for the days of old— keep looking. It does exist!
Respectfully, Sean

Peaceful setting, lots of wildlife, lovely porch, cabin could be cleaner.
We had a nice stay, the property is peaceful with lots of deer, wild turkeys, and birds. The cabin has good space,,but a few suggestions, we left a nite light for the next guests since I bruised my leg on the footboard of the bed as the space is tight.
The bed was comfy except when two people you roll into the middle. We used the washer and dryer once, but had to go out to buy detergent, then realized the dryer vents into the bathroom so it created a lot of lint and dust. For fire safety, please consider venting outside. We are assuming much of the dust around the cabin was due to the lack of venting. The fridge makes such horrible noise it kept us awake. But We did spend a lot of relaxing time on the front porch, it was such a nice place to have our meals. And the living room set up was great. We enjoyed the couches and tv at night. The kitchen was nice with cooking and eating utensils and the best lighting in the cabin, except no trash bags.
The oven was quite dirty and there was broken glass and food particles in the sink drain.
Most vrbo places we stay provide at least a few trash bags, spray cleaner to wipe down counters and bathroom and a couple laundry supplies. The dryer was full of clean towels when we arrived and the tub had two dirty wash cloths . Simple fixes would make this place a real gem.
We closed all the windows when we left, several were open when we arrived.
Road would require chains or 4 wheel drive for winter.
