"The location of Christine’s home is so beautiful, the garden is gorgeous and the kitchen is very well equipped. The walk to Pont-Aven from the house by the river is gorgeous and we had such a lovely stay. Communication was excellent. We loved it!"

"The property was very well equipped and thoughtfully laid out. The rooms were airy and comfortable. The host was friendly. The only issue might be the stairs up to the apartment which would pose a problem to anyone with mobility issues. It took about ten minutes to walk into Pont Aven town centre."

We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local area, especially the local coast and beaches and the nearby Pont-Aven. "We had a wonderful week in Florien and Jim's property. Firstly the check in process was very well managed by their neighbour Maurice, who was a lovely gentleman and proved to be incredibly helpful and kind later in the week when our car battery died and he provided us with jump leads. Nothing was too much trouble for Maurice and the owners who went out of their way to help us at every turn. Everything that you need is provided in the kitchen (nice touch with some very eco-friendly cleaning products) and the open plan area downstairs is great for a family. The courtyard garden is charming and lovely to sit and have lunch/dinner. The added benefit of the separate utility/laundry room was so useful when returning from the beach to rinse out bathing suits and wet suits and the private parking area super convenient in a town where parking is at a premium. The property is perfectly positioned in Pont Aven, within walking distance of all the shops, galleries and restaurants - there's even an amazing wine shop right next door that also sells delicious baguettes and croissants (much better than the bakery in town). We loved all the local beaches (Rospico being our favourite) and the local area is stunning. With children we weren't able to venture to the more high end restaurants but we must make a special mention for Creperie Armelle, Ty Burger and Maison le Darz (most amazing kouign-amann ever). Definitely recommended!"

"Pont Aven is a wonderful location and this gorgeous house (with parking) is only a couple of minutes from the centre but very quiet. Catherine and her sister Francoise are amazing hosts and the house is immaculate and very well equipped. The area is full of wonderful beaches and coastal walks. Easy access to the motorway allows trips far and wide including a round of golf only 25 minutes away near Concarneau."

"We had 4 nights here and loved our time. The house is spacious and clean. The garden was wonderful with so many things for our adventurous 10 year daughter to enjoy. She raced out every morning to play. The location is very peaceful but only 10mins from the local supermarket at Scaer and there are markets on certain days in different locations. We visted lovely beaches, Concarneau and Quimper all within approx 30 - 40mins. Marie and Frédéric were lovely and welcomed us in. We would have liked to stayed longer!"
