"First visit to Gambia and although we realised the star rating system was not on par with the UK it fell well below on many aspects. In its defence the manager has only recently taken this hotel over and things were improving even during our one week stay. The staff are lovely and the location is as good as the photos suggest. The description of a 'wellness' centre is not terribly accurate. It needs to sort out the water system as most days we had to report that we had no water and they then did...
