This was our second year in a row to stay at this lovely place. If you like to get away from the city and enjoy the outdoors and lake then this is a wonderful place to stay. We will be returning next year for more fun and relaxation. Thanks to the entire staff and owner for having us. We liked everything about this place. No regrets at all.

Beautiful sunrise and sunset views over the lake.
We arrived not knowing what we were getting and it turned out to be an amazing place. The resort overall needs some attention and there was no room cleaning daily. The main lodge kitchen had food left out on the counter overnight. The views were amazing and the exotic game were visible during the day and audible at night. My friends and I decided that we really liked the overall experience and would probably stay there again in the future.

Beautiful lodge.
The lodge is beautiful & amazing. I did not have any interaction with any staff other than to pick up my keys. We had no problems nor did we need anything so that was not an issue. The rooms were comfortable, large & decorated masculine as with a hunter in mind. The only neg that I could possibly report is that there are no A/C vents in the bathroom & it was 110 degrees in there. After showers & blowsryers it was unbearable. Fall or winter would be perfect!

Unique Last Minute get-a-way
Our trip was planned & reservations made in less than 24 hrs of our arrival.. 1 bed room King/lakeview Villa. Our bed was soft, AC was cold (loud but Im used to a noisy fan so it was perfect) and room was clean. The property is beautiful. We peeked around the Lodge as well as a few other types of lodging they offer and all was top quality. I had read previous reviews so I knew to ask for the gate code ahead of time, to bring our own food & beverages and to request the use of a buggy to drive around the property. Seldom saw the host but that was fine, felt like we had the ranch all to ourselves. It was a nice stay & we did enjoy every bit of the site seeing! For the room rate per night, I would have expected water bottles in the room and a continental breakfast/coffee in the lodge. We would love to stay again and possibly during hunting season. It was a interesting place and I'd love to know more of the story behind it. A few things are 90% complete but just lacking total completion.. could be a awesome property! Nevertheless, we enjoyed our selves, meet a family of 6 who were in the next room and they all seemed to be having a grand time too!
