"Ramon's homestay is a great place to stay in Batad. The rooms are rustic with that provides basic needs for a homestay. You're provided with million dollar views and if you get to meet Mang Ramon, you are in for a treat as his hospitality is that "home" feel that you are looking for."

Stay away!
"Bathroom smelled of sewage. The lady at the from desk kept trying to sell us tours and transportation for way above the going price. She told us a tricycle ride was 1800 pesos. First place we checked in town gave it to us for 200 pesos. Be aware of that! Hotels.com says it includes breakfast. They ..."

- If you go here by Codalines from Manila, be aware that their aircon is freezing cold - so bring some warm covers. - it takes about 1 hour by trycicle from Banaue to Batad. To get to the village or the homestays you need to walk down a longer trail.
