"Pleasant property with lovely views from all the principal rooms.Small kitchen space next to large dining and lounge area.Rural location.Fairly easy to find, even in the dark.Property nicely presented, with a homely feel.Snug and warm.Some of the local lanes are a bit narrow.But once out of the lanes onto the main roads ok.We hope to return in the summer to explore the area more."

"Our family has a reunion of 13 people and we all had a wonderful time staying at the priory. It is so spacious and comfortable - almost all the rooms are en suite, there are big rooms for all to gather to eat or play games or socialize, as well as spaces for folks to have quiet time. "First impressions of the property was that it was lovely and warm, well appointed, nice decor and very comfortable beds. Due to horrific traffic we arrived considerably later than hoped, Chris and Freya were very accommodating. The kitchen was perfect for self catering, the log burner a treat and loads of hot water, perfect for a soak in the bath after a long days walking in the moor. I cannot fault any aspect of our stay. "I wish I can stay more time. Is a peace of heaven on earth, and all the family members are kind , the house is clean , and have everything you need for sleep and stay, the only thing I missed is maybe a basics , like a little oil bottle, coffe, for example. But anyway are a lovely places around . We will come back for sure. "
