"Great food as ever. Room was a little cold when we arrived but warmed up afterwards when we put on the bathroom heater. It was 1.5 degrees outside. "

"Great location for travelling to alps. Lovely pool. Spacious and warm rooms with spacious bathrooms. We had the valentine dinner which was fine, but just took 3 hours ! Great entertainment- reminded us of Fawlty Towers a little.when tap turned to hot goes boiling and burned my fingers. Pool showers when hot hardly any water pressure "

"Tucked away in the beautiful town of Chablis, this hotel has the aura of luxury and elegance without the price ticket. Very clean, spacious bar, lounge and restaurant. "What a stunning hotel. It's like being in a film set. An authentic Chateau with bundles of charm. The people on site are exceptional nothing is a problem. "We were very happy with the offering at this hotel, we were able to secure a room for Friday night on short notice. The staff were very friendly and we experienced the most efficient check in of any hotel. Very quick, no wasted effort, and a friendly exchange with the counter staff. "I decided to host my family and friends in a chateau in Champagne for my 50th birthday! I chose this one because it looked like it jumped off the page of a Brontë novel. After reading reviews and looking in a map, I wasn’t expecting anything near by. So we had planned to enjoy some time at the chateau, have a birthday party, then head out on day trips. "The reception was poorly manned and very slow, we were seen but ignored at first. We were unable to get breakfast before 08:00, but we need to leave before that and they would not help us at all. Getting out of the grounds before then was very difficlut."

"We opted for demi pension which was really good value. Room was very clean and comfortable although a little snug. Restaurant was excellent with lots of choice, menu plus A La Carte. Breakfast also excellent and service was superb. Only disappointment was car parking - from the description we had assumed parking was on site and secure not across the road on the open verge. Very quiet area, opposite a canal with good walks nearby."

"We enjoyed a relaxing week here, the property is well equipped both in the kitchen and the rest of the house. The location is rural yet only 1.5hrs from Dijon and the Burgundy wine region is on the doorstep. The hot tub and sauna are a wonderful way to relax overlooking the river. The host was helpful."

Best property we have ever rented

"This rental property is a huge cut above anything we have ever stayed in...and that goes back many years. The properties have been restored to a very high standard, with taste and grace. The bedrooms are all beautiful, and the bathrooms immaculate. The living accommodation has been thoughtfully planned out to be versatile for any combination of events and people. We used the outside table for several al fresco dinners of 20, and we used the inside tables at both properties for meals also seating 20. There is plenty of tableware, and the kitchen equipment enabled us to cook high quality meals. We used the barbecues multiple times, the hot tub was a real treat, and the bikes got lots of use! The grounds are enclosed, so our dog happily roamed free, he had a great time too! Our host Nathalie was very helpful but happy to leave us as independent, which was perfect. All of us enjoyed staying here immensely, and we will definitely book again. Parfait"
