"We stayed here one night while driving the Wild Atlantic Way. We were extremely pleased with our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. No AC but they did have a fan.Looks to be a newer building. They are in a good location and have a big parking lot. You can walk a few blocks into town to most of the restaurants. The bathroom was new but it was very small and the water pressure wasn't that good. We would definitely stay again if in the area."

"This guest house was well located to restaurants and stores. Parking was a little challenging but we did fu d some on the street till early morning. Overall nice place. "

"A wonderful stay at a historic country house. It was appropriately decorated for it's period. Very attentive and welcoming staff, from it's owner, John, to the bartender and waitstaff at breakfast."

"The owner let us in showed us around the property and left. We didn't know that there were other guests as no one was there when we arrived. They obviously weren't happy about us being there we cold hear them through the walls arguing about us being there that we were gonna eat their food downstairs in the kitchen. It made for a stressful stay we couldn't wait to leave in the morning early! The house is lovely, but they were doing construction next door and they showed up early to move...

"Very pleasant stay. Room was comfortable. Shower was fabulous. The owner is really lovely and give us recommendations for places to eat. All staff were so friendly. Very nice place to stay. Would definitely come back again. "

"The house has plenty of room with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which makes for quick showers for everyone in the morning. The kitchen is nicely equipped and everything including the wash machine worked well. The town has a nice market just three doors down and is minutes from Donegal and other sites like Sliebh League cliffs. The rooms were comfy and quiet and our hosts were attentive and gracious. Thanks!"

"8 adults in our group who all enjoyed staying at Hilltown. Very clean and tidy, spacious with large dinning space, nice sittingroom and very comfortable double/king sized beds. Ideal for families with children who can sleep in the room with 2 bunkbeds though that was a bit more challenging for our older group of adults getting up to the top bunks! Jennifer was very helpful on arrival and was nearby and contactable for any issues. We would all recommend Hilltown as a great base for exploring...
