"Ballydevitt Retreat is a comfortable home away from home in a great location. It is removed from the business of the town but an easy walk to the town Diamond. The home is spacious and comfortable. Paula, the host, communicates very quickly and is excellent at making sure guests have all their questions answered. I highly recommend this as a place to stay while exploring County Donegal."

While the setting was rural, we did overlook a parking lot for a business next door. There were farm animals in the yard next door who said hello as we came and went. "The house and surroundings are lovely. House was very clean. If wifi is needed for work or other need, this is not the right place for you. Property advertises it, but signal is little to none. Everything else is great. The house is set near Donegal town and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. "

The property is well located for visits to the usual attractions like the Causeway and Bushmills. It is also handy to the walking trails of the Glens of Antrim and especially The Dark Hedges!
