"The Grand Canal was very convenient to getting about the main part of town, and its adjacency to the DART made it easy to get to farther points. The variety of food options, from the daily breakfast to the quick coffee/pick-up food/light lunch in the lobby, to the brewpub attached made it very simple and enjoyable to hang out with my travel companions if we were too tired to venture out. The bathrooms were the nicest I saw on my trip, although I would have loved a bathtub for a soak."

The combinations of price, location, and the property made it great. It's not a movement building, but it has charm. Posts of the room were a bit odd, like the hairdryer not bring in the bathroom and having to duck it you want to look in the mirror while you dry your hair, but that's just amusing.
