"Drove around Ireland with my son for almost three weeks staying in a different place each night and this was by far our favorite hotel. Lovely clean comfortable rooms friendly staff. Hotel, cafe across the street, and pizza place next door are all owned by the same nice guy and what really set this place apart other than the great rooms was the food. Included breakfast is basically anything off the menu at the cafe across the street and the pizza place had the best pizza we had in Ireland. They were sold out otherwise we would have happily extended our stay another day. Pub up the street has good live music too. Highly recommend this place!"

"We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed interacting with Margaret. She was very polite and attentive. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend this location. Its just a quick drive to the local shops, there is an amazing park with a castle in Portumna, and we were able to visit neighboring towns with ease. I was very impressed with the information Margaret provided. She was kind enough to print out a packet that contains everything you need to know during your stay. Can't recommend enough. "

"Just 50km from Galway and in the countryside, this home was a wonderful base for explorations from Connemara down to Limerick. We could have fared further but for lack of time. The home is quite charming, Brid gave us excellent recommendations for nearby eateries and had stocked the home with information useful to tourists. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is considering a visit while the home is available. "
