"Absolutely perfect little home to just get away and enjoy the sights of Norway! Was originally supposed to be just me but I ended up making some friends at the hostel I stayed at in Oslo so they tagged along on the drive with me. Totally forgot to change the reservation on the way there but Ragnar was more than welcoming when we arrived!! When we got there he gave me the run down of things in great detail which was very helpful and even had a little gift for us! I wish I could keep this little...

"Het was elke dag genieten van het uitzicht op het fjord en de wolken, vanaf het buitendek of vanuit het huis. Een huis dat met zorg is gebouwd en ingericht, en comfortabel om te verblijven. De eigenaren doen er alles aan om je een fijn verblijf te laten hebben. Balestrand is een mooi dorp, met veel huizen met een geschiedenis. Vanuit Balestrand kan je makkelijk wandelingen doen en genieten van de mooie natuur in de omgeving."

"It was very nice to have an apartment in such a beautiful well maintained old house. We enjoyed the tranquility. The view from the balcony on the fjord was fantastic. Likewise from the 'towerroom'. Balestrand is a good base for excursions in the area, walks and visits to museums. The owners are friendly and helpful. We had a very pleasant stay. Ingrid"
